WRSE is also a completely student run campus radio station too.  This is my 8th year and I enjoy every second of it, win or lose.  I tell my Fiance and friends that "It makes my weekends in the fall."

How many years exactly is it going to take you to graduate??

Hehe,  I somehow graduated with a Major/Minor in 4 years, but don't know how that happened.  College was definitely a wake up transition into real life.  CardinalAlum I know you know this, but I DO look forward to setting up the equipment and getting ready for the broadcast each and every game.  My Fiance' thinks I'm nuts in that I will set up the radio equipment (home games) 2-3 hours before a game and just stare at an empty field.  It's my own personal "moment" to capture the anticipation of the big game. 
Between the broadcasting, being a member of the Nat'l Alumni Cabinet, etc.  I am on campus 2-3 times per week as it is, so in a way I never feel like I left Elmhurst College.  It holds a special place in my heart.

Just to piggy back on all of the Carthage v. NCC game reviews...
ps. Did anybody else notice the NCC scoreboard when it kept flashing "Lean like a Sulo?" I guess they were trying to reference a rap song "Lean like a Cholo?" I was not sure if that was an inside joke or something but I was laughing because it was so cheesy with some other Carthage guys.

No, I never saw that! But, I did see it encouraging the DEFENSE when our offense was on the field! Oops!!

4. What are the chances for a victory over Wheaton if the Cards are heavily penalized again? Is cutting down on the penalties one of the main keys to the game?

In last year's game, in the last minute, NCC completed a pass to the Wheaton 6 but a holding call moved the ball back to the 40. Penalties were a factor last year could play a role this year. NCC needs to clean up their play. I don't expect them to be penalty free, but they need to eliminate the stupid ones. Late hits out of bounds. Delay of game on punts. Offensive facemasking. Holding by the wide receivers. Holding on punt returns.

Yes, that is exactly what it is referencing.  One of the d-linemen had a little AV skills last year and actually created the "Lean Like a Sulo (remix)" on his computer.

While I agree the Cardinals broadcast crew has had their problems, they aren't THAT bad.  I have heard worse and the NC crew at least can keep the game flowing.
