Good point. Hey jaybird, can you and some of your 1999 buddies pop over to naperville for a bit tomorrow and help out the Titans? :)

If you North Central guys don't mind me asking, what is a "blitz creed", anyway? I went to seminary, and I don't remember studying any creeds that involve linebackers rushing the quarterback. Given NCC's religious affiliation, perhaps it's a United Methodist thing that they want to conceal from outsiders, like Mormons and their magic underwear. ;)
I was under the impression that Blitz Creed was Apollo's younger and less famous brother.

Mugsy told me the "Blitz Creed" was liturgy in the covenant church.

If it were, North Park would not be 0 fer it's last 57 CCIW games.

That's "blitzkrieg", not "blitz creed". But quoting one of my favorite songs ("Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones, for all of you unbelievers out there) and naming yourself after one of my favorite beers (Goose Island Matilda, anyone?) puts you right up at the top of my "This Guy Is Cool" list, my friend.

The Goose Island Matilda is good, but I would recommend the Pere Jacques

Usee-  Very funny  :D
I hope we can give Wheaton a fight.  The injury bug is really taking a toll on EC.

Wheaton will be w/o one of their key senior defensemen Sat. and for rest of season.   Sounds a little familiar to last year.

Except they are not missing 7-10 other starters as well, like last year...
that's why i said a little given the position of the player out :-)

wow, 16-3 elmhurst halfway through the 2nd.  Pick 6 just thrown by norris.  Might be time to put Bradley in... not sure why Norris has had such a long leash all season long with a solid QB with experience on the sidelines.  I've been a Norris supporter the majority of the season but he is too shaky a quarterback with his back against the wall or in big games.

Elmhurst leads 16-9 at the half. Wheaton missed a long field goal as time ran out.
Augie is up 42-0 at the half, and Carthage has a slight lead over Millikin. NCC is having no trouble with IWU.

Does anyone know why Fanthorpe isnt playing?  He didn't get hurt against Wheaton last weekend

Aaron Fanthorpe has Mono.  There is no timetable for his return.  This is a big blow to the Cardinals with a big game next week against Augie! :(

RadioNotes

Usually with MONO you are out for at least 3 weeks...
dangerous for the spleen to rupture otherwise --so ALL the
Cards will need to all step up and be sharp?!!!  Auggie
and NCC is always a good game too....Hopefully everyone
will be back healthy for Playoff time!
