EC vs. NC is always a pretty competitive battle no matter where the teams are in the standings. Plus many of the players are going up against former HS teammates because of the proximity in DuPage Co.

Off topic but did you see Mt. Prospect (my hometown  ;D ) was voted as the best city in the nation to raise kids and family?  I couldn't believe it.

I know I am a bit older than you, but even I can see the Wooster team with 2 losses right above Elmhurst!

And wooster is definitely a pool C team whose only 2 losses are to top 15 teams.

New AFCA poll is out.  North Central is #3.
Wheaton received 25 votes
Elmhurst received 8 votes in the others receiving votes category.

For anyone who ever asks a question about Pool C or the playoffs process, the best analysis I have seen on the topic is on the Pool C board by Frank Rossi (under General Football)

It doesn't get any better than this in my opinion.

If everything stays the same and all the schools win in order of ranking, the bracket should look like:

1. Mount Union
8. Aurora

4. Trine
5. CWR

3. Wabash
6. Otterbein

2. NCC
7. Franklin

If the NCAA moves Mount Union to the East, who would move in to take their place (UW-Whitewater?) That's the question that can't easily be answered and why I think MUC  could stay in the North - if Cortland beats Ithaca.
There are an awful lot of unbeaten teams in the North

Redman04... what's the bet?  You want to bet the Carthage vs. Wheaton game or wait until next week for the OSU vs. Michigan game?

Or, we could go best out of 3:
11/15 - Carthage vs. wheaton
11/22 - OSU vs. Michigan
12/6 - Alabama vs. Florida

You pick.  But, there have to be points involved this time.  And, what's the price to pay if you lose?  Wanna play for the profile name again? :o

I like Best outta 3!  Profile Naming rights works for me!
How about the Masters of the Board name the Spreads?

Ok, let's do it.  Since I lost last go around, can I pick two of the three games?

Fellas, what's the spread on the Carthage vs. Wheaton game?
