Congrats to the players selected to the all CCIW teams.  In addition, congrats to NCC and Wenger, Fanthorpe and Coach Thorne for sweeping the DPOY, OPOY and COY.

Yes, congrats to NCC on a clean sweep of the awards! This question may have been asked and answered already but has any other team pulled off the clean sweep with in the last 20 years?

Also, congrats to all the athletes that were named all CCIW.  I noticed Dominic and Derek Sulo were named to the first team offense and Defense.  How long ago if ever have brothers been named 1st team all CCIW?

Just want to congratulate IWU WR Martin Ceisel on being named to the All-CCIW 1st Team for the fourth time, which I believe Pete Ittersagen accomplished as well.  I gotta believe the list of 4-time 1st Teamers in the history of the CCIW is pretty short.

Congratulations and thanks for all of the hard work, Martin.

Dominic Sulo may be the next in 09!  We'll see!  Congrats to Martin and Pete on their outstanding football careers!

Simultaneously? I don't know about that. Unfortunately, the league's website does not keep an all-time list of All-CCIW football players, which it does for men's basketball. I can tell you that NPU has had three sets of brothers who've made the All-CCIW first team (the Bobas, the Battaglias, and the Loves), although none of them made it in the same season as their siblings. NPU did have a pair of brothers make the 2004 All-CCIW team, DB Tim Rotenberry and LB Mike Rotenberry, but Tim was a first-teamer and Mike was a second-teamer.

1999.

Wheaton's John Peays was a 1st team all CCIW defensive back and his twin brother, Ben Peays was a 1st team all CCIW Kick Returner (could have been as a WR as well but there were some good ones back then)

BTW can someone post the link to the All-CCIW page? Thanks.

Gregory Sager

It's on the CCIW's official website, http://www.cciw.org. Bookmark it, or commit that URL to memory, because almost everything that you need to know about the league is either on it or accessible from it.

CCIW All-Conference teams released... Wenger/Fanthrope/Thorne Sweep DPOY/OPOY/COY. The only surprise I saw on NC's part was Treglown being on the second team, I thought he was first team worthy.
Not a surprise and well deserved IMO

North Central this year.

*Augie in 1986 and this year's NCC threesome were the only ones where none of the 3 awards were shared!

For the past few years the NCC fans have been saying, "hey how about something for the effort here."  There will be no money, no adulation but you will recieve total consciousness the next time you get beaten by Wheaton. ;D

Congratulations to North Central for Sweeping the awards.
