Thanks, Wags.

Boy, Wenger turned into what I thought another former Dakota HS linebacker was going to be in the early 2000s  ;D

Great article about Wenger...truly dominant.  He was a great wrestler as well, 3 time state champ which is not to shabby.  Thats all I have to say about that.

He had a 2nd place finish as a freshman too.

For the past few years the NCC fans have been saying, "hey how about something for the effort here."  There will be no money, no adulation but you will recieve total consciousness the next time you get beaten by Wheaton. ;D

Perhaps you should have chosen your words more wisely!!   Here's what we have for you, GT:

I was just wondering what everyone's opinion on the polling question was.  At 5:31 AM it showed that around 45 percent of the people think that UWW got hosed a little bit on the seeding.

Personally, I don't think that they really got hosed.  All of the teams above them got in through Pool A.  On the capsal, it states that UWW got in through Pool A as well because of the 9-1 record they shared with UWSP.  But if I'm not mistaken I believe the automatic bid went to UWSP because they beat them head to head.

It seems that most of the people seem to think that it is an injustice to put the defending nation champs and two-time prior to that runner-ups that far down in the seeding.  But what is the term that we use around the Chicago-land area for which ever baseball team that we cheer for? Isn't it "There's always next year"?  Well, baby its next year already.  A team should not just live on the reputation of tradition or recent success.  The team should be judged on the current season.

Anyway, those are my two cents for why I did not vote for UWW.  What are your thoughts?

That's going to leave a mark.  Great movies, but how about this inspirational movie moment as we approach the playoffs. A true Gipper moment.

I just wanted to say what a good article today's Around the Nation (on the front page) is. Combine that with the team capsules and you get a very good feel for the playoffs. Thanks to Pat and Keith and whoever else helped with that.

You win! You always do!

Agreed, I always enjoy the debates that columns such as these bring up.  Around the Nation is often the first place I look on Thursdays.  For those who don't read it regularly, it really gives a broad sense of the entirety of D3.

Umm... I'm hoping Wheaton plays better than they did against Elmhurst.  Otherwise it will be one and done.   :-\

How about if Wheaton and Trine each play like they did against Hope? ;D
