Not Wheatons best game by a long shot, but a win none the less.  4 turnovers next week (or any week there after) will kill their season.  Should have had at least 17 points by half.

Final score 14-0.  They finally said it while describing final stats.  Wheaton may be heading to Case Western, Case western up by 3 with 1:30 left in game.  17-13 They did give the score for that game however

Fanthorpe sacked in the backfield, but TMC gets a personal foul after the sack. Apparently the player who sacked Fanthorpe with a little extra push or talk after the play.

Make that 4th and Goal from the 6, no idea what's going on....officials gave the 1st down on the penalty...then TMC coaches huddled and called over the official who changed it to 4th down. NCC field goal.

Both teams finished with 19 first downs.

Norris was 23-39 for 315 yards, 1TD and 2 INT's

Pokorny had 7 catches for 122 yards
Ellis had 4 catches for 100 yards

Gingg had 24 rushes for 111 yards (one 45 yard gain)

Wheaton was in the redzone 5 times and came away with 2 TD's.

Trine had somewhere around 275 yards passing.
Trine had 31 carries for 66 yards.
Trine had 2 receivers with 6 catches for over 100 yards

Wheaton was 9 for 15 on 3rd downs, while Trine was 5-19 (though they converted at least 5 4th downs).

Good win for Wheaton against Trine, who is much better than most give credit.  Wheaton must play better next week if they wish to advance.
