Newsflash: Wabash College gains new corporate sponsor.  Applications expected to rise due to nationwide exposure.

Just as I expected. Well done MB.

Overheard someone, (NCC player's parent), say that their quarterback broke his wrist during practice?  I thot
there was a similar injury earlier in year to Fanthorpe.   Maybe it was rehashing old news or if he reaggravated it.    That sure would be a shame if he can't battle it out with Rupp on Sat.

I would highly doubt the validity of this given the timing. Most teams don't practice on Monday and Tuesday practice hasn't happened yet so don't know when this may have happened. Sounds like bad info.

I was actually thinking that as I was texting a few people to try and get info, so here's hoping that it is bad info.

I know nothing of the validity of the info., but I would suspect that the practice schedule has been altered somewhat this week with the Thanksgiving day holiday on Thursday.

Interesting note on the Wabash / Wheaton game.  This is only the second meeting between NCAC and CCIW schools in the playoffs in the last ten years.  The only other meeting was Carthage's 14 - 7 win over Wooster in the second round in 2004.  Where y'all been hiding  ;D  Just kidding, I'm really looking forward to this game . . . it's been a long time coming  :)
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

I suspect those on the wrong side of that discussion are still in exile.  8)

You don't look exiled to me, USee. ;)

Thanks, Greg.  I withheld fire, not wanting to step on your toes. ;)

Just last year, IWU would have been a lock for a pool C if they hadn't lost a couple of those "pre-season" games - seems pretty regular season to me. :(

Or perhaps if they won a couple more of their regular season games they would have gotten in? Seems pretty simple to me.  :P

They couldn't win a "couple more" "regular season" games, but yeah, one more conference win (or NCC loss) would have gotten them the AQ.  But pool C is not to be sneezed at - Wheaton seems to like it this year. ;)

Congratulations to Dominick Sulo for being a finalist for the Gagliardi award.

Nah, they're gonna have their regular practice in shells on Thursday (in the morning, though).

Just want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.  Any Cards fans know more details on what Dominik Sulo's "Into the Streets" program is all about?
Thanksgiving is like New Year's where it's eat, football, nap, more football, bite to eat, ah  great days!  :o

Does anyone find it strange that Mt. Union RB Nate Kmic was not a finalist in POY, he rushed for double of what Sulo did (not taking anything away from Sulo)? I think its disappointing that a player of that caliber that breaks all these NCAA records doesn't get rewarded his senior year.

Also, Sulo in the West region... might help him when it comes down to the 4 regional finalist.

Into the Streets is a service project that the Freshmen do every year at NCC during their Freshman orientation.  They also ususally have some upperclassmen that are in charge of the freshmen groups.  And a happy and safe Thanksgiving to you too, JB!
