Let's hear it for Jay Locey and the Beavers.  Hey Hey Hey

And for the Wildcats for keeping the Steak Alive.  51 is a good # on our way to 100, taking it 1 game then 1 year at a time.

I totally agree with you. Hopefully the 'cats will have the turnover bug out of their system.

Sorry the cats didn't put on a better show for your return to catland. Next Saturday they will for sure.

Congrats to Riley, Locey, Langsdorf and the Beavs on their win over the Trojans.

Looking at the Stats for todays game:

Cats offense put up a lot of numbers but man did those turnover hurt.  3 of them inside the redzone.  Could have been a 42-3 game if he held onto those and scored.  BUT---the positives----Ragan had a nice game running the ball which is important because next week we need a running game.  Shaer had decent yardage, completeion percentage, etc. but the 3 INTs of course hurt---though at least 2 were off of tipped passes and/or under pressure.  You know the Rats are gonna run more bliztes next week to try to pressure him.

Cats D was really pretty awesome with the exception of a few big plays (including the long run by the QB that accounted for most of the Menlo rushing yards).  I think the D is looking good against the run which, if they can do next week, will force Joel Clark to throw more which I think is how we need to attack Whitworth.  If we get pulled into a head to head beat it out type of game I think Whitworth has the advantage but if we make it a shootout the Cats have the advantage (assuming they take their antibiotics and are cured of the turnoveritis they caught from PLU last week).  Can't wait for next weeks game even though  I'll be unable to watch or listen to it---who is gonna text me with the updates?
Go Cats!

Great to meet Swede, LND, Mr&Mrs Coco, Mrs Tuxguy at the game....Even got to briefly meet Ad just before the national anthem.

The Cats really made me nervous the first half....from what I could see it looked like all three interceptions came off of deflections.

My eleven year old son Rock gave the Catdome turf a heavy workout with the security guard's son after the game.
If all goes as planned they have agreed to repeat the workout after next week's game with Whitworth.  Hope to meet more of you before and after.

Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Good game Wildcats, Better hope you get things together or they will be no RAT killing...let the trash talk begin.  I'll give my two cents on the Whitworth game tomorrow, but I've got plans for the evening so I got to go.

Oh yeah, Hatchetman...even though I'm glad UPS won only for the sake of Whitworth's strength of schedule, not because I actually like the Loggers...I TOLD YOU SO.  I mean hey, I got one score almost exact for I once, I gotta do a little bragging while I still can.

A solid performance by the Pirates today.  This defense continues to impress.  It looked like Willamette brought in the second QB in the second half to try and pass more, but he had nothing against the Bucs pass defense.  The offense felt a little vanilla, other than catching Willamette napping on the fake field goal at the end of the first half.  Allan made some amazing catches today.  Obviously there was no looking ahead to next week...

Congrats Wildcats... big game next week. One game at a time into the playoffs.

The UMHB vs UWW was the most entertaining and exciting 7-3 game I have ever witnessed. The difference was the opening kickoff that Whitewater returned for a TD.

Both defenses were great. UMHB held UWW to only 120 yards of total offense and despite good field position the deepest penetration the Warhawks could manage was the UMHB 29.

Whitewater's defense stepped up when it had to. The CRU had three opportunities to put points on the board and only capitalized on one. A combination of good defense and untimely penalties stymied the other two scoring opportunities.

Lot's of salty "D" played in Belton on Saturday.

The team that made the fewest mistakes won the game. Hat's off to UWW.

I will be listening in as the Cats take on Whit next week. Go Linfield!
