I was just curious....on the front page story it says Linfield already has 1 regional loss? Who did we loose to in the DIII West Region?....I thought Hardin-Simmons was South Region? And Western Oregon is DII.

I'll be leaving soon for the drive to Catdome.  Linfield will prevail today in what should be a back and forth game.  2 good offenses.  It will be the CAT Salty D that makes the big play today!

Blue---the 'regional' defniition expanded this year making Hardin Simmons an "in region game".  Thats the loss referred to.  O.K.  I'm on a break from my course right now but am about to head back in.  Bring home a winner guys!  Can't wait for updates once the game starts!

Great read about a player that sounds like a great kid.  Relevant excerpt in light of our earlier discussions related to showboating, related to Leonard's mentoring of Rutger's young tailback sensation:

In Rutgers' opener at North Carolina, Leonard and Rice were huddling on the bench, going over a defensive front. ABC sent a camera over, someone on the sideline yelled, "Say it the camera, Ray" and fast as Rice's head popped up, Leonard had yanked it back down.

"No," Leonard told Rice. "You don't need to be saying, 'Hi Mom' right now.

"At New Rochelle High, Rice would end touchdowns with dances. Now, he finishes by handing the ball to the ref.

"I think people notice it more when you're the guy who does that, like Larry Fitzgerald," Leonard said. "Guys talking and dancing, it looks dumb. It makes your team look bad and you bad."
