No problem, Should be a great game! You don't always get to see 2 fine Qb's going at it like that. Enjoy!  ;D
I take it you will be attending? Take warm Clothes, when you think you have enough........... take some more!

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Hey Coco, Bluenote, Tuxguy, DenS LA, Wildcat11, et al -- Central v. St. John's this weekend in Pella. I know that a lot of Central fans (including myself) were hoping to play Linfield this weekend. We'll have to settle for beating the Johnnies, it looks like. How many Linfield fans are behind Central this week? ;)

Hope to see you guys again next season! Go Dutch!

It would be interesting to know how many Whitworth players were at the m.s.'s at The Dome the last few years. What film they have been able to see as well.

Pay too much attention to Allan and Clark is going to tiptoe for important yardage. A defensive missive for both teams is to nail the other Qb when he runs but I sure hope no one gets injured.

Very sorry to hear about the loss to the Wildcat community and my prayers and thoughts go to the young lady's family and friends. Thank you for giving the forum community the chance to grieve with you, WC11.

Congratulations to tightend #88 (Ackerman) of the Wildcats. He scored his first touchdown during the Lewis and Clark game. Way to go kid!
Here you go RedandPurple:

I have been lucky enough to have seen all the NWC teams except UPS this year. I have enjoyed photographing the games and I hope you guys have enjoyed looking at them. Many of the photos are on film and if anyone wants the original print, send me a PM and I will send it to you gratis.

Excellent picture of Ackerman going in for the td. My wife and I were sitting in front of his parents and they went  crazy when he scored. You captured some awesome moments. Thanks for sharing them.

"Why on Earth is Linfield still ranked?! They have only beaten one team with a winning record! The others they beat have weak records.

They are good, but I bet Baldwin-Wallace would rip them to shreds, or any number of teams not in the top 25.

They could not win a big game all year! Please leave them out of the final poll. They did not earn it this year. I respect them, but give it to someone that earned it."

SeanGOP,

Here is one Linfield's fan's reply.
1.   Two of the Wildcat losses were to Top 10 teams.
2.   The 3rd loss was to a very good Division II team.
3.   Linfield TOTALLY dominated Whitworth, but gave them 17 points on turnovers.
4.   This was a very young Wildcat team, hence the turnover problem.    They were much improved over their first two losses.
5.   The Linfield tradition---51 straight winning seasons.

I have not seen Baldwin-Wallace play; but I would not bet against Linfield.

You are right, Linfield did not deserve to be in the playoffs.   Yet, the truth is they could have beaten many teams who are.    In my opinon, there are only a few teams who clearly would be heavy favorites against the Wildcats---despite their "down" year.

We Wildcat fans are already anxious for next year.    We will be much more ready for Hardin-Simmons and other very good teams.

I have not seen Baldwin-Wallace play; but I would not bet against Linfield.

Tux,

I will not be traveling over the Weekend to Washington. I haven't been up there since my senior year when Oxy played UPS. I wish i could make it but i'll be working on saturday. Sucks to hear that the weather up there is turning horrible.

Btw, Do you think Whitworths Defense breaks easly if they get scored on fast? And based on seeing clark and hearing about his sore ankle, do you guys think that if Oxy's D-line and L.B corps bothers that ankle, will it do good for Oxy?

What I found surprising about the latest poll is not only did they remain in the top 25 but actually ROSE from #24 to #21. From beating L&C??

Go figure.

Regardless, because we didn't make playoffs, I can't imagine that we'll remain in the top 25 for the season's ending poll.

Brown Eagle:  Whitworth's D does not break easily period.  They have shown all season that they will play hard and tough against any opponents.  Last week they gave up 3 scores early to UPS only to stuff them the rest of the game.  The other thing to note is that Whitworth creates or recieves (depending on the game) a lot of turnovers that has helped them come back when down in the score.  I don't think the Rat D is going to let up this week.  What will be more interesting is to see 1.  If the Rat Offense can put forth a solid game and score better than they have in many games this season and 2.  Will Oxy mix up their offense some to target Whitworth's D at their weaker points.  Should be interesting.

Who is this "SeanGOP" person and why does he continually bash the 'Cats?  Does Linfield being ranked in the top 25 prevent his team from being ranked?  What's his beef?

MCat,

As long as Oxy studies their films on the Rats to find those weakness, I also expect them to do well on offense. And you are right, it appears that this game will be dead on close, but Oxy's unit will have the edge. THe number of turnovers for the tigers this year is not that big. However, they will make the rats turn the Ball over more than they have seen this year.

Is Allan the big T.E?

Not debating you neccessarily but why do you think Oxy's unit will have the edge?  I honestly don't see any big advantage for either team except perhaps if if Joel Clark is not able to play---that would give a huge edge to the Tigers.  However, the stats are close enough to make this a pretty dead even call.  The Rats have played, what some would say, a tougher schedule but Oxy has had to come from behind several times which builds character.  I suspect you give Oxy "the edge" for the same reason I (and other NWC posters) give the Rats the edge---to support our conference! I'd love to hear your rationale if it's different than mine! :)
