coco....I can't believe that tree situation in your yard!  :o That's kind of scary. Did you or anyone see the huge Oak that went down in the Oak Grove in front of the Linfield Presidents Home? There are a bunch of trees down around campus and all over town. Mother nature is powerful ...!

Believe the interview referred to was in the two-plus hours of pregame coverage on D3football.com.

Bluenote,

I did drive by the college, and it made me sick to see all those trees down, especially the oaks.  Those things were monstrous.

Olinemom,

I hope the Cats can make it to the big dance next year so maybe Mrs Tux, Tux Jr and I  can enjoy stone station and all your hospitality. MMMMMM Brownies ;D.  How many did you make this year for the game?

We missed the Interview,  ESPN almost didn't take us to the game because of a Basketball game.  >:(  :( We missed the pregame and were connected just in time for the kick off. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Well, I had meant to make more, but my arm gave out.  I made  20 pans--around 700 brownies.  And would you believe that most of us at Stone Station didn't get any.  I didn't want any. When you make them,  . . .but Snake and Kid were less than thrilled when they wanted one after the game and there weren't any left.  Each team got 6 1/2 pans apiece.  But by next year, my arm should be better.  We had a great time.  Llama picked some of the pictures out that showed us at the game and before.  D3football.com gave exceptional covereage beginning 2-3 hours before the game started.  It was a terrific day!  Way past time for bed, but I'm wired for some reason. ;D ;D ;D  Hope the weather has abated.  GHC, have you gotten back to the 21st century?  I feel bad about all the trees.  They take so long to grow that tall and look so beautiful.  Hopefully nobody got hurt when they fell.   Unlike the diasaster on Mt.Hood.  A friend of mine's husband died on that mountain about 25 years ago.For me mountains are to look at, period.  I would never be confused with a nature girl!  For instance, if the Lord had meant me to camp out and swim in the ocean, he wouldn't have had someone invent motels with airconditioning, cable TV, ice machines, and swimming pools!!!  Merry Christmas to all!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Hi Everyone,
We got our power back Sunday evening.  The clean up is quite a process as many of you know.  Nothing like a little yardwork in the winter.  Anyway,  counting my blessings, Nothing fell on the house, the dog didn't run away, the boat didn't sink, life is good.
Wildcat 11 and Mrs 11 will be in for the weekend along with our other son who is flying in from sunny San Diego, so we will have a house full.
Olinemom, as promised, there is a package leaving Gig Harbor to you in tomorrows mail.  Enjoy it, you will be the only person on your block to have one.
   To everyone else, Merry Christmas

     Peace  Love  Out

Right then....everyone's safe 'cept a few 150 year-old Ents in the Oak Grove.

Please do not carry on like The Columbus Day storm I had to hear about for years.

Hey! Look there! Another one's on the way Thursday or so.

Wishing you all a white Christmas.

I think I might start a Stagg Bowl savings fund and try to go next year. (63 degrees!  :o )  I would be a tiny bit disappointed if MUC was not there for I am finally impressed.

(yeah, yeah)

If I were a betting man........hmmmm........ ;D

Funny thing is....as the Linfields, SJU's, and WW's of the world contemplate what D-I kid is going to jump ship and "come to mecca", Mount is just using their "cool kid on the block" status and picking off POTENTIAL D-I talent before they ever even get there.

It's beautious!   ;D

DOC,
Are you jealous because you weren't up here, and you won't be able to say, "Back in the big windstorm of '06....."

GHC,
That's good that you have your power back, and the kids will be there for Christmas.

Skunks,
Go taunt the Johns.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

WC11,

You did your usual outstanding job on a highlight tape. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, you'll enjoy his Stagg Bowl Highlights. The different angles and slo mo are great.

GHC,
Good to hear all is well, and from your last post, sharp as ever ;D
Enjoy the time with the Kids!!

Not to wish bad things, and Coco, I'm sorry about your tree. But I wish 2 tree's across the street had taken an ill fate and fallen over.  ;) In the street of course. The developer planted the wrong type of tree's and it wont be long before part of my view will be lost.  >:( Maybe root rot will set in  ;)

DOC, Just a little wind coming in today, Oh, and Ice- rain. Should be interesting! You gotta Love Oregon! Global warming?

Merry Christmas everyone!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Skunks,

I would think that a fan of a team that has just won their 9th title in 12 years would have better things to do than a holiday drive-by?  I recall you posting last year that us Linfield posters didn't understand what its like to be "king"....I would hope you can exercise upon your own concepts of what it's like to be a part of a program that rules the D3 landscape.

Happy holidays "pot",

Signed,
Kettle  ;)

Coco,

Thanks for the props...The item that stood out to me the most is that if you're unable to capitalize on opportunities vs. Mount...you're finished.  Two excellent teams but Mount was just better prepared and their playmakers just execute at a high level.

bluenote

Has anyone heard who Linfield plays when the contract with Hardin-Simmons is finished next year? I have..... ::) It doesn't really surprise me but I'm not real thrilled about it....

blue...if we're on the same page...I agree...and it amounts to another waste of time that cuts our already short schedule down from 7 D3's to 6...no help at all.

I realize the geographical dilema but I guess we're just biding our time for the auto bid.  Bottom line is we'd have to spend even more money than we already do and travel to get additional D3 games and I'm not sure if the budget can take another big hit...those roadies are EXPENSIVE!
