Ha GHC you think the MIAC posters are haunting you?  TDT will throw you some +K right now and offer honorary membership into the prestigious Classless A$$hole Club.  After a long and arduous selection process it was determined by our Board of Directors that you would make a quality member from this day forward.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Just refresh my memory....
How long did Tuxguy say he was going on hiatus?
Oh! and when? I'm sure gonna miss him.
I imagine he'll be reading the boards though.

I believe I said.......A while.........You know ....one of those terms that means sooner or later.
I almost got watery eyed....."I'm sure gonna miss him" But then again, I do have hay fever.

Sorry,......... Where's the LOVE........you must not have read my post on the bottom of page 836, I'll let you go find it to see what I said. Maybe that will help your memory.............. OR?

It was either read my email or your take on.......Whoops......I hear Mrs. Tux calling, I just got her home from surgery on her Foot. Dr, Tux is back on duty.
By the way, The real Dr. (which Mrs. Tux thinks is good looking) is a Linfield Alum and the son-in-law of a member of  Linfield's Football Hall of Fame. I'll let you guys guess who it is......he did play in the NFL. ...............I'll  be watching......
Yes dear......

I put this on the SCIAC board and figured some of you all would be interested as well in case you're not wandering over there much these days:

Nice mentions of Whitworth's Michael Allan and Oxy's Andy Collins in today's Los Angeles Times sports section by sportswriter (and Oxy alum) Sam Farmer:  "Let the Next Season Begin" discussing the next NFL draft.  Under the heading "Five Small School Stars" Sam writes about D3 players as follows:

•  Michael Allan, tight end, Whitworth (Wash.): He made some nice catches at the East-West Shrine game that helped boost his stock. At 6-7, he's more of a big-target receiver than a run blocker.

and

•  Andy Collins, quarterback, Occidental: The Oregon transfer was the MVP of the 2006 Aztec Bowl — which pits all-star teams from the U.S. and Mexico — and played well in a Texas-vs.-the-nation game. He's accurate and smart, and that could land him a job.

Thank-you o' Tooth.

I was speculating a couple of days ago that with all the running (yes, at DIII level) that OxyCollins did, he was still pretty injury free. Some teams ala Dallas in the 60's-70's might draft a good athlete and see what happens.
Whether he wants to delay a career in something else would be more of your detective work. Our guys are playing around up in the Northwest and he might like to join them even.

Tux,

That was a great article about you and Mrs. Tuxguy in the local paper. I especially liked the picture of the two of you and Bluenote. That friendship goes back a long way. Nice 'fro you had back in the day, too.
