My prayers and condolences to Blue and his family.

D O.C.

I believe I still have a hundred or so (statistically speaking) punch cards from one of his classes. I was writing a program to nowhere.

I can hear his theories now. Perhaps I'll now cut them up and toss them to the four winds for good fortune.

Blue,
No matter how old we are, losing our dad is tough, and you have my sympathy.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Thank you all for the kind words and support. I really appreciate it. I know I was lucky to have my dad with me until he was 86. He taught me a great deal, just like your dads did/do. It will be especially hard next football season not to see him in the stands. Although he could barely walk, had lost some of his eyesight in his later years and relied a lot on the radio broadcast to know exactly what what happening on the field, he wouldn't miss a home game for the world. He loved Linfield and Linfield Football.

Wildcat11...
been taking ADvantage of the weather this winter, eh? Another labour of love.

I ran over to the Advantage Catdome for a peek. Nicely done.
I am going to have to figure out a way around this message from a work computer, however.

You didn't by any chance ignore my advice about putting up your old toga party snapshots, did you?

Interesting take by John Canzano today in his column. Mark Speckman, bearcats coach, is definately a candidate for the PSU job and Canzano lays out a good case as to why they should hire him. The psu program is on the verge of breaking- so why not break the entire mold and bring in a true innovator in Speck? Should prove intruiging to see what happens, although I am sure they will wuss out and hire the def. coordinator.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Michael Allan is a significant part of a video feature on NBCSports.com about players preparing for the NFL draft combine.

Worth a watch.

Thanks DenS,

Be sure that you drop by the blog every few days and don't be afraid to leave a comment if you would like.  I figure that as we get close to the season there will be more to talk about.  However, I do have some ideas for the blog that might work well.  We'll see

Catdomealumni.com's blog:ADvantage Catdome

Don't forget...new videos on Catdomealumni.com will start on Monday, March 5th.  The first clip will be the opener of the 2006 highlight DVD.

Watched Allan on the video available on this website. He looked soft and fleshy.

Thanks very much for the link to that feature Pat!  That was cool.

Frank - that's the best analysis we can expect from a supposed Hall of Fame poster?

pinecone: The information on the video is all the current information I have on Allan except for his purported height, weight and speed and his general reputation for DIII play, and I don't plan to seek out more. It is not my job. Consequently I doubt that I will engage in an analysis of Allan's prospects.

Frank has scouted at a very high level in his life so he doesn't really like to speculate based off little evidence. :)
