Attaway, Desertcat!
You know how to treat 'em right.

I'm not saying Allan won't be missed, and I'm not saying he wasn't a big play option for Whitworth.  I don't know he was more of a big play option on any one play any more so than Clark was though.  Maybe its just the nautre of the QB position that I would personally rather go into a season without a question mark there as opposes to getting back an under-appreciated and under-used (all by the coaches choice) NFL prospect.  If you could have brought back Elliot or Allen and Hazenburg this past season who would have you chosen?  I mean, those two recievers were much better than Kaluza and company, you lost a lot when they left...but who cares if scharer can't even get them the ball in big games?  But you are right, we probably wont see any more 70+ yard wideout screens, but I doubt we'll see anything near what Clark did game after game for quite some time.  It's not really an important subject though since they are both gone and people are going to have to step up in both positions next year for Whitworth to win another conference championship.

How about that Pac.10.....Oregon, USC, And UCLA in the sweet 16!!
By the way.......You see all the good games,........ I guess if  your going to live in the land of fruits and nuts, you deserve to enjoy a few of the good things the state brings. Just kidding.
When are you coming north for your daughters play?

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Tux,
Oregon sure looked good today and when they just destroyed USC a week or so ago I sat there mesmorized. As for the land of fruits and nuts, having lived there for 34 years there is lots of good that comes along with it. :-* In fact lots of fruits and nuts make for a very interesting diverse environment.

Tuxguy, I'll be up this Friday for one of the plays and again on May 4.

USC and WSU messed up my bracket big time. I had Texas going on to the final four and WSU going to the elite 8. UCLA is scary good. They didn't play well and still beat a good Indiana team. There are no seniors and only 3 juniors on the team.  :o

It's true. All summer last season I ran into people asking about my Linfield shirts and window stickers on my car. Catdome is everywhere.....

Doing well Tez. I'll be up Friday for a quick trip to see my daughter in a play. For all Linfied fans, the theater dept. is presenting Sophocles' "Women in Congress" Tuesday through Friday. My daughter has a part. I know it is a shameless plug, but hey, I'm proud of her. ;D

What would happen at Willamette if Speckman gets the Cal Lutheran job?

It'll be a slippery slope for sure.

The OC is an alum as has been there for awhile.  I could see him getting it. It seems like Speckman is really trying to leave.
