Thanks OxyBob.  The zingers are a good sign...the more zingers usually means the deeper into the playoffs...

In his column in The Oregonian today, Steve Duin talked about how lousy we sports fans here had it in the 80s and 90s, with the Blazers, U of O, and OSU. He said there were a couple bright spots during that time, and the first one he mentioned was -- you got it -- LINFIELD FOOTBALL!

Hell, it's always a bright spot.

Coco,

Right on!  It's been a BRIGHT SPOT for 51 straight years.....52 is almost upon us!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

coco

Yep.

Don't forget to send your ticket forms back, everybody. This is our short year, with only 4 home games, and we don't want to miss one. It's almost time to start counting down the days.

Wildcat11,
Thanks for the video of the camps.

coco,

60 Days................

WC11,

Thanks for the clips, that brought back some great memories.
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

snoop dawg,
I highly recommend going to the Elk in Brownes Addition...it's a small neighborhood on the west side of Spokane's downtown....fantastic selection of microbrews and killer gumbo and sandwiches.  Benneditos Pizza on the south hill of Spokane is some of the best pizza I've ever had besides a small little shack in Cannon Beach.

Hello to all.....I just got back from the Caribbean with my wife and some Whit fb alumni and their wives.....gained at least 6 pounds, but it was worth it!!!

Yes coco....this is the more difficult year for fans/travel on our brief 9 game regular season schedule. We only play 4 home games and 3 of the 5 away games are pretty far distances... Ashland, Menlo Park and Spokane. The good news is that the other away games are pretty easy....Monmouth and Salem are short treks, so it's almost like having 6 home games  :D  (kind of....) I guess the team arrives some time in mid August TuxGuy so I can't wait to see the beef.

If you've ever wondered what some head coaches do during the off-season I have at least one answer for you.

Frosty Jr. likes to play with fireworks

.....now if he could only incorporate some of that firepower back into his PLU offense.  ;)

WC11....You may be a synical smart ass ........but you do great video! 8)

I went to see the Boise Burn Beat the Stockton Lightning tonight 58 - 46. Casey Allen scored a couple of TDs I was able to talk to him for a couple of minutes afterwards to congratulate him and to ask where Hazenberg was. He said Brandon is on the IR with a rib injury. Allen said it has a long season but he is having fun. Also if they win one of their next two they will make the playoffs. He is the featured player on the Boise web site. I also talked to Travis Masters for a few minutes. He seems rarin' to go for the season.
Here are a couple of pics I took:
