This is what shows on my screen in Firefox when I load that No. 1 site. Link

Sent them e-mail about it when it first changed.

PC, I do have firefox at home and loading up the Linfield site is not an issue on my P.C.

Dunno what to say -- I provided the screen shot so you can tell I'm not making it up. :)

Oh...I wasn't implying this wasn't happening to you...I was just saying that I didn't have this format issue with my Firefox at home.  Are there any other Firefox users on the board that have this problem with the 'Cats site?

Gray Fox

I use Firefox (what else?) :).  When I use the d3football link, I get Pat's flawed version.

If I start at the school's home page and go through the steps, I get a good version.

I hope that helps you techies.

Ah hah -- the difference is

/sports/sport.php?sport=fb
or
/sports/sport/sport.php?sport=fb

With all the sports sported I didn't notice the sports were spot sorted ...

This is why it's wise to take down defunct pages -- the bookmarks and search engines will still go to old places.

I get the same results you did, Gray Fox. It comes up okay going through the school's site the long way.

Yep -- we've updated our link. Easier when people take the old sites down, though. :)

I notice the Cats 2007/2008 roster is posted on the Linfield website.  It looks like the long football tradition is well in hand with the list of Freshman.  The freshman class is "impressive" to say the least.  Take a little time to read the bios on each of the young Cats and it certainly make you feel like the program is stacked with quality athletes.  I lost count when reading the number of new Cats that were Captains of their teams....All State, All Region,etc.,etc.Good mix of athletes from Oregon, Washington, California and Hawaii (of course).  Also many dual sport student/athletes.  Appears like we will see many of these kids during Baseball and Track seasons as well.  Even some star athletes in football and basketball.  Certainly an impressive class and many kudos to Clyde Powell and the other recruiters.....great job!

2008 football here we come!

I'm pretty sure you guys have picked it apart already, but what did you all think of the NWC preseason predictions? I was surprised to see the Bearcats up so high after a fairly disappointing year last year. Also, my Loggers are 5th again, when really the only big loss was Rory Lee and a few members of the defense. I wouldn't mind seeing some reasoning behind the selection, as it generally seems to fall in the same pattern year after year.

Thoughts? Comments?

Just a note to say hi!  I am coming to McMinnville in 13 days.  I am really excited to experience the Linfield football tailgating and game atmosphere!I have asked my hosts about being able to make some dynamite brownies, so that will be my contribution to the festivities.  I am looking forward to meeting everybody with whom I have corresponded for so long on this board!!  See you all soon!!  The wishbone?  That sounds exciting.  I haven't seen Linfield play since they won at Salem so I am pumped!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

can't believe the season is so close.  I'm sure WOU is ready to dish out 6-7 personal fouls....Trevor will need to watch out for late hits.

The Purple Flag will be arriving around 4...if I remember right, the tailgate is out behind the baseball field

soon, very soon

OlineMom,

Welcome back to the NWC Board....we've missed you!  Glad you are coming to the Catdome.....that is wonderful news after all your "well wishes" for the Cats over the past couple of years.  I suspect the Purple Flag will be ever present at the Tailgater in advance of the game!

You're in for a treat and experience you won't soon forget!  Thanks again for coming West!!!
