I saw on the SCIAC board that maybe PLU was up by 24 at the half but I have not been able to confirm this.  I can report that UPS wins 21-7 over LaVerne (that game is final).

I've got the feed up on my laptop now but it's intermitent and very faint.  Even with the volume up all the way it's hard to hear.  Of course it would help if my 2 and 4 year old would stop hollering.   It sounded like they said 41-10, backups in the game, ball at the Kingsmen 5 after a big run.

Wow,  I will be the first to say that I think I've underestimated the Lutes this year.  I've been having second thoughts all week about picking the Cal Lutes over the NWC-LUTES but I also think I should have done more homework in the NWC pick-em.... Oh well...good for the NWC anyway.

Let me add--OUCH for our boys in Portland Oxy 52 L&C 0.  I really thought maybe the Pios would bring a little more this year.  But I guess they are playing game 1 against a team that has been kicking some ass (in their conference at least) for the last few years.  I'd love to see the Pios win one this year though.

As I said the feed was very hard to hear so until I see the score somewhere I'll reserve my celebration.  There is also a possibility that CLU could be in for a tough year.  I believe they have a new coach and their star qb left for another school.

Bigboy---that is a good point about CLU--yet, i still thought they would beat PLU (I did not do my homework on PLU thought....).  Let me know if you get a confirmation on the score.

yeah, that's a tough way to begin a new year, when you're hoping for improvement.  I'm more surprised that Redlands handled Whitworth in Spokane.

I kinda figured I was going out on a limb taking PLU but I just can't pick against them  .  CLU has traditionally been good and with the game down there my thought was we'd eke out a win.

...  Anyways, the Whitworth offense is a question mark and Redlands has always fielded a good team.  Although with the D returning almost completely intact, and Redlands having a complete inability to throw the football...the offense doesn't have to do much

Interesting score from Ratland !!  thats what happens when you phone it in on someone.  As for UPS--They need to get some now cause when they play the NWC boys it will be a different story--  They finish 4th this year
