WOU has instant stats on their website.....the Cats have some work to do in the second half to level the playing field.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

We need to get the Cats to sign up with this video feed company.  This is the first game I've been able to watch since the Stagg Bowl of 2004.
Go Cats!

well then 3 quick thoughts from the Whitworth game...

1.  Like a posted awhile ago when I was talking about the QB situation, Kemp has some accuracy problem (but his 67 yd TD run was so remiiniscent of Clark he wont get benched).

2.  The O-line needs the UW transfer to get in his practices (probably Whitworth's biggest weakness).  It didn't help that Redlands D-line played an amazing game

3.  Ryan Marshall should have never played this week.  He was hurt and left Whitworth with no way to win after hobbling after the reciever who caught a 79 yd TD pass to seal the game for the Bulldogs.  He limped all game and never came up to make a tackle because of fear of hurting his ankle.  He did have one INT when the Redlands QB mistaked him for a Bulldogs reciever and threw the ball right to him.

4.  I know I said 3, but while I'm venting Tully needs to fire himself as O-coordinator.  After the most predictable play calling I've seen in a long time (run on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd) something needs to be changed.  There's no more Joel Clark or Mike Allan you can't just rely on your offense being flat out better than the opposition.  Whitworth showed some great promise (mainly the first quarter) but doesn't have a 6'7" NFL prospect to lob the ball up to any more.

Redlands played a great game...hats off to them.  My Pirates played like crap and now MUST win every NWC game (and probably every non-conference game other than Azusa) in order to have a shot at making playoffs.

(509),

ALthough I only listened to the latter stages of the game what about 3rd and a short 1 to score and ww throws and then on 4th calls a qb draw from shotgun??  granted it was very late in the game but those don't seem like great calls to me.

Chapman just went up 21-0, not yet halftime.

I am now in carbondale, ill and my new(er) team just beat d1 Northern illinois 34-31! Salukis were down 31-10 going into the 4th! This is good karma!
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Crap...another TD for wolves--CATs need to get more pressure on the qb
Go Cats!

Redlands deserves credit for a good win.  As I mentioned on the SCIAC site, both teams made mistakes, but the Dogs took better advantage.

Whitworth had some open opportunities.  But the timing between Kemp and his receivers just wasn't there on the deep balls.  Get that timing worked out and the offense looks a lot better.

Looks like a frickin track meet

That drive was ugly.  Wolves score a TD.  PAT is good.

Wolves lead 32-20.
