So I take it we have no run game ???   What about the kid from Mac High ?

I think it's more that the O-line simply can't drive the WOU line off the ball.

Cats need to figure out their pass D before next week.  They are getting no pressure and the WRs are open all over the place.
Go Cats!

The Wolves are bigger on both lines.

Yup...but that's an excuse...
Go Cats!

After listening to the HSU v. W-LAX game and watching the second half the Linfield v. WOU game, I think the HSU v. Linfield game could be a high scoring affair. A real shoot out at the Cat Dome.

Losing always hurts, but it's the Cats first game, it's against a pretty fair D-II team that has had a game already. I think the Cats are going to be OK.

Final score Cats 20 Wolves 32:

Difference in the game:  turnovers by the Cats (2 early fumbles and a late INT) that killed us and inability to penetrate the Wolves O-Line.  Our offense looked pretty good (minus the turnovers) and Our D was good against the run.  Need to figure it out for next week and from here on out.
Go Cats!

Tough loss, but the heart the team showed was encouraging.  They didn't pack it in after the 16-0 start by WOU and they had a chance in the 4th quarter.  Get back to the Catdome and beat HSU next week.

not to mention the fact that WOU controlled the ball (running 80 plays to our 50)
Go Cats!

Wildcat'64

Deja vu of last year 28-14!  However, I think both the Cats and the Wolves are better squads than last year.  Need to turn it around by next week.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Chapman up 24 -7 with 2:10 in the 3rd Qtr.

Just took a look at HSU's roster.  We should matchup better and they are young.  They've got small WRs and RBs and young QB's.  Most of their big guys are true freshmen and i would guess are not starting (or traveling).  let's get ready for next week CATS!
Go Cats!

At the end of the 3rd qtr, Chapman with the ball and up 24 - 7
