To para phrase Orel Hershiser from his book Out of the Blue, "I didn't care if the last pitch was in the dirt, a strike or hit over the fence, all I was thinking about was the pitch I was about to throw." Great players, great teams, and great programs play it one game, one play, at a time. Ones mettle is tested through adversity and not through easy times. Hopefully the players and coaches will not dwell on the last game, but analyze, deconstruct, learn and grow from it.  The focus is on UPS. Not the past and not beyond. No playoff talk. No Streak talk. Just what do we need to do to beat the Loggers!!! Let's go Cats, suck it up and be ready to rebound on Saturday and show the world what you are made of.

Gig Harbor Cat

Blue you have it all wrong.  11 is not about giving a Pep Talks.  He is speaking from deep within.  I tend to believe those that have been there and done that.  I say follow his lead and get off the the Cats backs and get behind the program.

Tux if you are at the Catdome tonight look me up, I will be down to watch the Vet Cats light it up at the Alumni game.  Will I need an umbrella?

Should I be worried about the Alumni game too?

I would think that depends on the mystery players.

If I get around to it I would post some Alumni game pictures from previous years on my page here.

Touchdown Tommy

My sources tell me that WC11 is bringing the PAIN tonite.  I hope the Linfield JVers are jacked up or 11 will be JACKING THEM UP on the gridiron.  Somebody has to pay the price for Saturday!!!!

I'm assuming when you say that "I'll let Coach Mora sum it up for me." that you linked the Oxy Alum's infamous "PLAYOFFS?!" meltdown?

I wish I could see YouTube links at work.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

d-train

Can someone tell me a little more about Whitworth's webcasting/video-feed capabilities? I might need to clear a little room on Saturday's schedule for what looks to be a great game.

GHC,

I'd have to say YES! ;D
And.........I've got you covered!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

GHC....point well taken. I guess I watched the Jim Mora Video Wildcat11 had on his blog shortly after the Willamette game too many times....BTW...we missed you at the last few games! ;)

dtrain....I tried to get on last Saturday but the feed only allows like 75 links. I was not able to get on. But I'm not sure if I had the right software or not.

Wildcat'64

dtrain,

I watched the game last Saturday and actually joined the broadcast at halftime.  So you may need to check your software and make certain you have the proper type to link up.  I think the Whitworth website gives you the info you may need to know to access the game.

IT IS GREAT to be anywhere in the world and be able to watch the game over the net.

MonroviaCat

Yeah, once I had the link I hopped right on and that was somwhere in the 2nd quarter I think....  I'm hoping to watch this weeks game too as it looks to be a good one and should tell us a lot about what will happen in the NWC this year.  Looking forward to hear what happens at the Dome tonight---Cats win either way in this one :)
Go Cats!

Tuxguy

WOW, Just read WC11's  Advantage.com,

Thank you!!!

I've  never played on the turf I so Love at the Catdome. But I've been Watching games since I was 6 years old, and eat free pizza playing in the pep-band  many times while in School, and now watch from my seats just above bluenote.  8)

My point? I feel about our Cats as the rest of you, and say things sometimes I wish maybe I hadn't. WC11 summed up the after game feelings very well, and I agree, we can either start to criticize, or we can get behind these boys, Coach's and staff as we all know how to do and pick them up and move on.
I too am putting down my tin foil. ( read his blog)

Now about tonight......As much as I hope Brett gets a call from the NFL to play for a team soon, I hope it doesn't happen until tomorrow so I can see the Old Purple Frisbees Fly tonight.   ;D

Let the Balloons fly Pat I hit 1000.
GO WILDCATS
