There aren't many reverse angles in general because it would have left/right confused from the broadcast audio.

Plus that's a lot of cable. :)

I guess the next step is for people to start asking for Erin Andrews to interview Coach Smith as he enters the locker room at half.

I'd like to see a helmet cam, and maybe we could get D@D the John Madden draw crap on the screen technology....oh....and also can we have cut aways to other games....."and now we go to Portland where Lewis and Clark is attempting an upset of Whitworth...."  Yeah, if we could get all that added before the next one.  There should be plenty of time and money to get it done..... :)  Seriously though, enjoyed the video including watching the Kicker attempt FGs from the 50 yd line (and beyond) at half time but have no clue if he made them.... Still--good stuff :) :) :) :) :)

WC 11,

Simply Brilliant!! Now you're thinking.....what a brilliant marketing strategy to have Erin Andrews patrolling the sidelines during the game doing interviews.  The Catdome will be packed, no more empty seats....

CATSEYE is great with or without Erin....but you're clearly thinking ahead! +Karma to you!

DOC...Ragan is on "D" now working in at linebacker (#17 & #6 linebacker do really well, just needs time) and Cruckshanck is playing little spurts at back also. Montavo is out right now. Masters was impressive with his speed. It will be nice to combine a great running attack with a solid passing game...which was somewhat off yesterday. Couldn't believe the 53 yard FG either.

Big test this weekend...playoff game #2.

Didn't Ragan start his Linfield career as a linbacker that they moved to running back?

I have looked back at my schedule and where I have been during this season. I watched and listened on the computer to the WOU game. Loss.  I got home from a workshop to listen to the second half collapse against Willamette. Loss

I did not hear any of the game against Hardin-Simmons but did get phone updates. Win. I also did not listen to the UPS game and just got text updates. Win. I will not be home this weekend so will not listen to the game. In fact I promise to not listen to any of them the rest of the season. I will attend the Menlo and Lewis & Clark games though.  :P

They moved him to RB last season.  That experiment didn't work out.  I think Montalvo is the guy...hopefully he can medical redshirt and play a couple more years.  He doesn't look like Tarzan but he doesn't play like Jane either...everytime he got to play last year he ran hard and didn't dance...

Thank you downtown48. That's what I thought. Our high school has a senior fullback that has expressed an interest in Linfield. His last two games he has rushed for 275 yards and 127 yards. Mostly blocked for the 100 yd+ tailbacks the first 3 games.

Yes, he did make them, and I'm betting that he'll break his latest record of 53 yards.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Foss

I wonder how many kickers in all divisions have kicked two field goals over 50 yards so early in the season. I'm guessing not too many.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Let's see...when THE STREAK ends starts over it will still be THE STREAK until someone surpasses it.
Won't it?
Come on! Lively up yourselves.

How about a 20 car caravan to Ashland this weekend with families and all other excuses in tow?
If you're thinking that's easy for me to say, know I've rearranged my life to come up for PLU.

Dens, are you feeling o.k.?  Your last several posts have been very difficult to follow--I get the part about the the streak and the caravan down to Ashland but I'm missing the connection to the quote "Is anybody out there"....  Just want to make sure your not developing schizophrenia or something....  Good to hear that you'll be making it up for the homecoming game.  Wish I could...v :-\

"Is There Anybody Out There" (complete lyrics shown) is a Pink Floyd song from 'The Wall'.
In the middle of a season the first post was at about 9:00 AM and then a total of 5 posts from LINFIELD people all day. Three years ago this was a lively and somewhat obnoxious place.
I was probably trying, in my interminable style, to comment on people falling off the band wagon, I suppose.
