Not much to add to what Coach Smith said and what is on the Linfield preview page. I was going to say as much. I can add that they had 15 guys out due to injuries, 10 were starters in the Stout game at the start of the year, in which they played pretty well. They have alot of freshman and sophomores playing which gives a lot of inexperience and leads to inconsistant play. Despite the scores, I think their D is the Oaks strong point. The O's poor play just lets the defense be on the field too long and has given the opponents short fields with turnovers.
Any of the folks on the boards going to make the trip to Atherton?

I was seriously considering making the drive up for the game but I have to be back in L.A. early Sunday and just couldn't convince myself to drive all the way up Saturday monring and then right back after the game.  I'll be logged on to D&D of course.
Cawcdad--tell us some about the players for Menlo (which guys do we need to watch for), how do you see the Cats attacking them (besides however they want...).....etc.....c'mon you've watched these guys all season and must have some insight for us.

Same old, same old R&P. Porta potties, double uprights on the goal posts. Tiny bleachers.

Yeah hate to say it, but not much of a facility.  No improvements to speak of.

I would also highly recommend The Oasis on El Camino in Menlo Park.  You can carve your name into a booth!

Only Linfield home games are available. You can watch them play Lewis and Clark in a few weeks.

I watched PLU-Whitworth via the Pirate broadcast and found their play-by-play and color guy to be pretty darn good.

I think I'll pass on the $12 to see Linfield-L&C.

I really just use the audio to filter out any background noise around the house---I'm usually too busy typing my posts while watching the video to actually listen

I generally hate windows media player, but I may have to make an acception for this huge game. I am not overlooking the Trees this weekend though. I heard Nate Jackson discovered he still has elgibility.
