QuoteI am not overlooking the Trees this weekend though.

CANNOT. If ever there was a team to give the WILDCATS a bruised heal it could be these 'who's showing up this week?' guys. The close games they have given LINFIELD over the course of events states they CANNOT be overlooked.

The Oaks give up the rock as much as the Cats did in the first several games. With the number of guys out hurt for Menlo, the number of underclassmen starting for them, even a poor Cats game gets the W. This is not the same Menlo squad that was competitative last year.

Lever is a quote machine! "...like a fist-fight in a phone booth...." Classic!

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Interesting list. Seems like there is only 2-3 teams that are playing any games out of region or division.....plus most of the other teams have 2 or 3 more games under their belt.....  ???

Pat Coleman

RFB,

Remember with the automatic bids and the national at-large bids, there's no guarantee eight teams from any region will make it. The line is meaningless and misleading.

I know, but it gives us a little hope as fans. Redlands still needs to win three more games though before it can even be considered.

snoop dawg

They probably have to win in convincing fasion also.  Look for them to try to do so.

Pat...what is misleading about it? Isn't it just a published list of ranked teams by the AFCA region by region ......that they just published?

RFB and snoop  dawg
The way I see it, rankings are great for boasting, but auto bids take a lot out of the seeding process.
And I think that's what everyone is looking for, are we in or out if we win??
Pool "B" Pool "C", all I want to know is, If we win out........... are we in?

I think the west region rankings are miss leading......Linfield is ranked 15th in the Nation, and Redlands is 36th, But the west region has Linfield 9th and Redlands 6th??
If we all win out.........Look for that big win over Haskell Indian Nations to come back and bit you in the *&)%. Just MHO.

You are BOTH right, only wins from here on out will get any of us in to the big Dance.

GO WILDCATS
ONE PLAY AT A TIME
ONE GAME AT A TIME
LET'S LEAVE NO DOUBT
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

bluenote

DOC....cool prognosis. You forgort we'd beat MUC, SJU, UWWW and UMHB...any day of the week!  ;D.....with half our brain tied behind our back.

bluenote

TuxGuy....Redlands beat Whitworth...I think AT Whitworth. So we have to also!     :o

I don't normally like to talk about the playoffs too soon, but I'm thinking that if we win from here on out we go. How could we not? We've historically done well in Pool B, and even with fewer of those, we'd still have a chance at a Pool C bid. I don't think they'd take two teams from the SCIAC, IIAC, and MIAC and leave the NWC out, unless an NWC team has 3 losses.
