If Cal Lu wins what a mess Southern Calif. will be.

That was crazy. ESPN just showed the trinity return. They could hardley stand when it was over. That was way more latterals then Stanford-Cal. Crazy

the OXY broadcasters just said that if the SCIAC ends in a three way tie then they use the "Rose Bowl tie-breaker" to determine their automatic bid. Which means if CalLu wins today and then wins either of the next two weeks (at Pamona and home vs Redlands) they will get the automatic bid.

which is not good for the Cats/Rats (IMO)---that would mean that Oxy and Redlands could both be 1 loss teams in Pool C which could mean the Cats/Rats would be that much more desperate for a Pool B spot..... gonna be an interesting few weeks.

rose bowl tie breaker is basicially: the team that has not been to the rose bowl the longest goes

In the case of a tie, the team that hasn't been to the Rose Bowl (playoffs) in the longest amount oif time gets to go. This came about a number of years ago when there was a tie for the then Pac 8 championship.

you both beat me to it, as far as I recall it was a Pac 10 ("8") rule not a Big Ten rule for the Rose Bowl.
