Very generous of the d3football.com pollsters to list LINFIELD at # 12 with a 5-2 record (rewarding STREAK pressure?) but I DO stand by my listing of a couple days ago of which teams we could beat in the Regional Rankings so it does make sense to me.

I think the +K from me puts menlodaddio up to 11 now...good to see not only a washingtonian but someone who has some ties to Menlo posting on the board.  Us Whitworth guys would love you to take the Skyline kids to the UPS v. Whitworth game as well (or instead of)  ;D  I'm sure the kids would like to see a conference contender...plus you can get a pic with former Skyline standout and Whitworth Assisstant Kyle Snell   ;D

Menlo guy from Seattle LOL, well I hope to add something here and there. Good to get some playoff insight but still unclear, win the NW division then ur a "A" what/who determines who you play next etc etc.  I know the guys at Linfield can fill me in..
Here's wishing you a "haka haka" burning love  Go Oak 13!!

I'm trying to find a direct line between Sammamish (Skyline) Bellevue and Atherton with out stopping at "GO". (Linfield or PLU or whoever) Your right, the trick will be keeping them.  It will make a difference  when the recruit is from Washington and not just around the corner from Menlo were they can run home every time they don't like the results or??

Besides the weather is pretty nice for theguys from Seattle.. :) and Coach K says the can wear their Seahawk jerseys on Sundays, pretty big step for those 49er nuts!!  First group heads down next week I'll let you know how I do..stay tuned We will turn the corner. 8)

big week for the Cats....most of the team is back to remember the loss at home last year to Whitworth.  Cut down on the fumbles and I think we're OK.  The Salty D has resembled the '85 Bears lately......haven't given up 100 yards in 3 games is ridiculous.

Hard to imagine that the playoffs are in sight after a 1-2 start, but the guys have battled back and are on the brink.  Won't be able to make the trip up to my 2nd favorite stadium in the NWC, so I hope D&D are on their A game.

Game preview is up here.  Any news on the severity of Silva's (Whitworth Reciever) injury and status for the game this week?
Go Cats!

The rest of the d3 world has probably not gone too deep other than to read the game preview link posted but it IS important to know that the page picture of Jackson Vaughan is that of the 2007 Division III Women's Softball Champion coach.

So Dens WHY is that important to know ?  Other than the fact that Jackson is an awesome coach and has more rings than most others.

I will be tuning into the game from my remote listening post in Tulsa, OK. I am excited for the game as I remember last years debacle and want that memory wiped clean, but I am also bit scared as I know that Sean Kemp's son, the rat qb, has heighth and a strong arm and feasts on straight butter and Tripple whoppers for breakfast, much like his dad.

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Silva should be good to go...I heard he was out running through some routes with the rest of the recievers the other day.  May or may not be at 100% but expect him to play.  As far as Kemp having height, he is listed as 5'11" (which is pretty accurate IMO), so maybe 6'0" with cleats on.  He does have a strong arm but has been less than spectucular as far as completing passes this year.  If the Rats get down and are in a position where they need to throw the ball, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jon Luke is brought in, especially if the two minute offense is needed for more than a few series.
