I don't mean to rub it in, but I must report the facts.

I attended the Trinity/UMHB game today.  There were references to the officials being from the West Coast.
I just checked out some box scores from the SCIAC and NWC.  They were indeed from the NWC.  So I guess the NWC was not shut out completely, just in the most important part. :'(

Hard to beat a very good team on the road with your starting quarterback hurt. Maybe Linfield should have started their JV team this year, couldn't have been any worse in the results department.

Congratulations on Redlands hard fought 28-point loss.

G.Fox,

Glad to know the NWC was doing something today.

RE: The UWEC fan bus cancelled -

Notification of the bus was by attending the booster luncheon that day, or if you happened to see it posted on the website. It was not advertised in the paper, or on the radio... It means that in the four or five hours that the signups were being taken, without a lot of publicity, they didn't get the minimum people required to make it a cost effective trip for the fans who wanted to go...

The bus was intended for boosters, not students - and those who signed up were going regardless of whether there was a bus available or not...

BFD,
Oh here we go with the excuses.  Coach  Coach !!!  It took a bad hop, the sun was in my eyes, I slipped, he holds. I have an owie.  Last time I checked you get things done as a TEAM.  If your #1 is nicked up then you bring out the #2, which is usually no big deal if you are a playing a Haskell type team.
As for Linfield's results I don't even need to go there.  You just need to go to www.catdomealumni.com  and watch some video on how Champions play.  There are also some related photos on the main page of Trophy's and rings.  Feel free to cut and paste them since you never got one.

The playoffs are bogus as far as I'm concerned without a NWC Team represented. They aren't legit and I consider them a farce.

Swede,
If you are looking for a more mellow posting board, you should check out the SCIAC board.  It is a SJU-Redlands virtual lovefest.  Its the usual Johnnie idea of inviting a friend over to the house, beating the living crap out of them and then giving them a kiss as they head out the door.

Really, I do think Ithaca and Fisher should have gotten into the playoffs.  It was Hartwick who got lucky by winning at home against those two teams to win the AQ.  On the road they were absolutely horrendous this year.  I believe had Ithaca been playing anyone but MUC, they probably would have won.    Hartwick on the other hand should have been the team fed to MUC.

I can understand the bitterness but I do think the 2 Pool Cs to the E8 were deserving.

Anyone? Ithaca over UWW, Central? SJU, UMHB ....

So you're saying this was the actual Stagg Bowl? Darnit, where was ESPN?

It's unfortunate that the team that Whitworth lost to at home got stomped yesterday. Makes it hard to really mount an effective campaign for them to have gotten in.

Yup---I agree.  Of course, Whitworth lost that game at the beginning of the season and some may (and probably will) argue that they were a much better team by the end of the season (though Azusa Pacific may beg to differ).  Anyway, our season is done so what else can we do but complain, whine, etc.  I'm pulling for UW-EC at this point :)

Ooops, I was missing a key phrase in that... If Ithaca had been playing anyone else in the Eastern region they probably would have won..
