I agree with you guys that Linfield will be a force to be reckoned with..... and here are my recommendations:

An aggressive ogre type Offensive Line that mows people over.
A QB that makes good decisions.
Several running backs that go forward...quickly.
Receivers that fly and catch.
BIG Shrekish Defensive lineman that have several teeth missing and can move fast.
A few linebackers that dance like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
DB's with ESP.
A kicker that can kick field goals from inside 60 yards.

And all players are required to eat a large bowl of chili 2 hours before the game.

bluenote,

From what I hear, that's what we have returning and coming in . Hope you didn't give our recruits away,  :o   ;) ;):-*
About the "D" line and missing teeth, Linfield has a nice Dental plan to help those boys out.  ;)  (With the mouth guard in you will never know) ;D

Big, Bad, Fast, and will Leave no Doubt

GO WILDCATS
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Quotenice to see the Cats are getting ready for the '08 season.

More like pretending they're in the playoffs, you suppose?

Maybe it's the "Highway 18 Bowl"....the Top 2 teams on Hwy 18!

GO CATS...LEAVE NO DOUBT IN '08

UMHB winning 64-0 in the 2nd round (and scoring 50+ in the 1st round)?? Wow. If they can get to Salem I think they have the best chance of beating MUC (assuming the Purple Raiders get there again). Plus, mentally UMHB knows they took down The Mount only three years ago. The problem for UMHB is that Wesley Snipes keeps knocking them out of the playoffs. They get another chance against him this Saturday. If they get it done, UMHB will then likely have to travel to UW-Whitewater again, which is another huge challenge altogether. UW-Whitewater seems to be getting stronger each week.

I think the 'Cats D will be the strength next year. The linebackers are going to be fun to watch. I agree with bluenote that it will be up to the 'Cats to take away the NWC title from Whitworth. The Pirates have knocked down the 'Cats two years in a row and killed our playoff chances. Time to get the NWC crown back.

If the '08 Wildcats need a pep talk for any reason, we can always drag GHC (who has apparently shaved his head) out of his mobile home to give them a motivational speech. He'll remind them that when all else fails, you can always go with the liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiver shot!
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Anything for the Cats Foss

Maybe the Cats "farm team" down in Corvallis will have some"ringers" developed well enough to send them up to play for the Cats in '08!! ;D

Not much noise on this board...as for me I am jumping on the BU bandwagon this week...also pulling for UMBH...Wabash and St. John Fisher.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

All you umbrella hats watching the Oregon-Oregon State game...(HEY! there's Locey!)

You DO know Phil makes those free sports uniforms to humiliate both teams, don't you?
Free, but the absolute worst in all sports.

I thought of something today I want to run past you guys....if Linfield ever doesn't make the playoffs again I think we should have a Bowl Game at the Catdome. Maybe like 2 weeks after the regular season ends. We could invite another team that didn't make the playoffs but would be a good game. How does that sound? We could call it the CatDome Bowl. Like this year we could have invited Whitworth.
