Here's what is starting to be tip-toed around...
nobody cares if WC11 slips a brutal hit of his own into his own creations.
In fact, WE WISH HE WOULD!   8)

That's right. Come on, 11. You're much too modest.
By popular demand you need to put in at least a few of your hits. Please.
You've got fans here who remember.

I think I slipped #11 in Big Hits II but I think that is it.   Besides that hit I was never a "big hit" type of guy but more of a twig in the spokes. Who wants to see clips of a then skinny kid hanging on for dear life? :)

I think you guys will be happy with the Darren Causey and Joe Dominey clips that will be out in May.

coco

Two excellent players!
Joe Dominey looked like he was half wild beast when he was on the field. I loved to watch that guy. I remember hearing that off the field he was calm and soft-spoken. Wasn't he a sportscaster after he graduated, or am I thinking of someone else?

Coco:

The ice jams on the Mississippi are causing some high water and difficulties getting our favorite watering hole opened up fo the season.  We were forced to move our base of operations tonight to a little bar down town.  One of the first barges of the season was heading upstream. Mrs. Warthog and I couldn't help but think about your visit to Iowa and watching boats navigate through the locks and dams.  Some very pleasant memories of your trip remain with us. We certainly hope all is going well with you and the family.

Little Warthog and  Mrs. Little Warthog have resigned there positions at the clinic here and are moving to Waverly to join the staff in the clinic at the Waverly Hospital.  They are excited about the move.  She interned there and that is where he did his rehab when he tore up his leg while at Wartburg.  The clinic has a satellite office in the new Wartburg Rec Center so Little Warthog plans to spend some time there helping with the Knight walking wounded.   We hate to see them leave here, but it seems like a good opportunity for them further north.

We'll send more later in a less public forum.

coco...when I get to be around 88, or so, I, too, hope to go down to the river and watch the locks.
If I'm lucky I can sit in my wheel chair vehicle thingy and watch the ice break up as well.   :)

Actually the locks are rather interesting.  There is lots of history to their construction,  It doesn't compare of course to looking at that mossy crap on trees in Oregon, but we do the best we can out here in fly over country.

Warty,

It's about time you showed up.
Ah, that was a great little watering hole of yours, with that fine array of brews. It's hard to imagine ice jams in that area.

DOC, the locks he's talking about were incredible. Giant barges went through them, and the water level made huge changes. We were fascinated, and it WAS the Mississippi. It sure beat the hell out of watching the Wheatland ferry, our waterway attraction.

Did someone say Watering hole ???

Hey Coco--the next time you see 11 have him tell you about the first time he met Dominey.  I actually ran into Joe at a pub in Seattle.  He said he was working as an announcer for a pro hockey club.   What an animal --

coco

No one could accuse Dominey of not being pumped up for the games. You could see it from the stands. The guy was awesome to watch.

That's good that he's still involved in sports.

...I loved Joe Dominey....that guy was a Beast! He played in the early 90's.....I think he was on the team that went to the final against Findlay of Ohio as a freshman and started.

Did I miss a post about former wildcat Aleki Pascua a '99 grad being named new Offensive line coach at PSU?
