I noticed this article about a couple of Linfield high school recruits in The Record-Courier in Gardnerville, Nevada.

A good article on a couple of incoming 'Cat football players from Nevada.

Football: Peterson, McCarthy headed to Linfield

It sounds like they both could be pretty darn good players and I like what they had to say about their expectations.

---Peterson said neither he or McCarthy have any visions of starting as freshman, especially in a talent-rich program.

"They have a real strong team, they aren't in desperate need of us, we know that going in," he said. "We're going to have to earn our time and hopefully break in on special teams or in mop-up situations those first few years.

"They bring in good players, there's no question. That'll just make us work harder."

I appreciate the new "crop" of photos on the d3football.com front page. Nice look.

I was listening to a Portland radio station this morning when they interviewed Scott Brosius. Before the interview they discussed Linfield's football championship, last year's softball championship, and now Linfield's baseball success. Then Coach Brosius came on and they asked him why Linfield succeeds on and off the field.

He talked about how Linfield has the right mix of academics and athletics, and was quite well-spoken about the whole Linfield experience. What a class guy!

I think it's awesome that we have kids who have the ability to participate in more than one sport and they aren't discouraged from doing so.

I am so proud to be a Wildcat.

Linfield used only one pitcher Garnett Dorn...went the distance...That  is a huge stat that could pay big dividends in this tournament...gave up only three hits to a big hitting team....Awesome game Cats!

Thank you BoBo.... ::)

Hells yeah!  The fact that we get in the winner's bracket and only have to use one arm is huge.  'Cats have the staff ace up tomorrow.

Cats make a valient comback with a Rhett Fenton 3 run dinger in the bottom of the 8th, get 2 runners on in the bottom of the ninth but can't push them across and drop a 6-5 decision to Trinity. Lets go Cats and come back through the losers bracket.
