My money is on the Rats when they face Redlands,,,After this season Redlands probably will drop Whitworth from their schedule and see if the can pick up Pacific U if they have a new young team in 2010!  Tough schedule for them to have L&C, Pacific, Crown and a few more pattsies!

Crown only plays St. Johns so I wouldn't count on that one!  ;D

Oxy @ Redlands should be a key game.

Redlands has 16 starters coming back and the game is in Southern California. Whitworth will have a young defense on the field next year. No chance against Selway and company.

Didn't the Johns have to pay Crown $10K or thereabouts to play them? Does Redlands have that kind of cash? I doubt that Linfield would. It would probably be a Title IX issue for the rest of us anyway.

Perhaps...if they don't have any ends or lineB's to catch Selway.

Would take any Washington & Jefferson, Case Western, North Central, St. John Fisher, Ithaca, N. Carolina Wesleyan for 'Cat September 20th open date.

LINFIELD Hall of Fame 2008 is posted. Congratulations.
DOC must now bite his tongue about the matter.

I'll call Whitworth's AD and tell him to cancel the game since the outcome has already been decided.   ???
Go Cats!

There you go! That will save them some cash.

We don't need no stinkin' NBA officials. Other teams can roll over and die at the mere thought of playing Redlands.

Now that we have all been informed that Whitworth will be no match for Redlands, that must be the reason their Coach gave them all his votes to vault them up to #24 (after all he seemed to vote for his boys when it came time to cast a vote on the playoff selections last season).  He doesn't seem to have a hearing problem when it comes time to vote....just when the phone rings and it's Cats on the other end!

Fox is right folks. The Oxy v.s. Pups game will indeed be a key SCIAC game. Why? Well, for one thing, the Rat's would have already beaten up on the Pups. And secondly, by then the men in orange and black will take advantage of a stunned Pup team that has lost prior games. It should be a fun game in the desert. ;D

You Cat fans should worry about your own team avoiding a third straight loss to the Rats.

This will be an early game for both teams.  It will be the fourth game over all and the second SCIAC game for both.

There are no Title IX implications in the paying of guarantees. Otherwise how would Ohio State be paying Navy 1.4 million to come play in 2009 or whenever that is?

Money isn't an issue for them I guess....but for a small private college like Linfield, Title IX becomes a priority issue in splitting up the limited funds.... ???
