Just doing a little research today.  I think there is a truly realistic chance that Lewis and Clark get off the schnide (sp?) this year.  Here is a link to the 2007 record for their first opponent this year.  Lets hope the power of the new Newfoundland logo they are sporting will get them over the hump.  This Cat would love to see a Pio win.

Bubs1856.....I think you're on to something there. L&C may start out of the blocks with a win. You never know, they could even be looking at a 3-0 start if they have a fairly decent team. That would be great!

Gig Harbor Cat

I guess Coach Lemon's heroics puts the Cats a +3 on the Rats of the world !!!

Pomona cleaned L&C's clock last season, and the Sagehens will whomp them again. So will Claremont. I feel another 0-9 season coming on for the Pioneers.

Lewis and Clark could beat those guys if things roll their way.  Heck, anything could happen, Oxy may even beat those guys :)
Go Cats!

Cannot think of the name now but anyone remember that one of the first women on National ESPN decades ago was from LINFIELD?
D.O.C. I think her brother played for Linfield was a good offensive lineman and was the former  President of Chemeketa Community College in Salem.   I believe she was a freshman in '72.  Bet Coco knows the name.  She was Hispanic and I  think last name might have started with "E".  I just can't remember the name.  Really cute gal .

I just looked at Oxy's schedule, wow, you guys could go 0-9 too! That's a pretty difficult schedule you have there!  ::)

Nick Symmonds will be representing the USA and Willamette University in the 800 m run during the 2008 Olympics. In fact runners from Oregon finished 1-2-3. All three will be competing in Beijing.

Principia was the worst football team in the country in last years Massey rankings.

I saw them play three years ago or so.  They played well but had a very small squad and had some players going both ways.

They could probably give Oxy or Redlands a pretty good game though!

Hey, Jabroni, you should just concentrate on beating Willamette and Whitworth.

...and you guys better concentrate on Colorado College!   ;)

Trivia time
Who was the Wildcat player to play in the old AFL and was the only AFL player to die from injuries received in a regular season football game?

Okay so I'm bored

Great for Sigma Chi Symmonds. Good things happen when you run your personal best in the U.S. Olympic qualifying trials and win your event.
