Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Wildcat'64

The Menlo score could be real interesting if the Cats are limited to only taking the "Top 53"!  Maybe they will have a game plan to work on the running game and give the QB's a little break in the action.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

c'mon guys, lets get off Pat's back. Were not showing a whole lot of class are we?

Pat Coleman,

Your comments at 12:37 today are right on the mark.     The vast majority of us Linfield fans are just great people.     There are a handful, however, who get on a keyboard and go hog-wild.   They love to brag and boast and are offended if anyone makes an objective (unbiased) comment about Linfield or their opponents.

How they forget the rough years of 1996-1998, where a bad bounce of the ball could have ended The Streak.

Yes, Linfield deservedly is atop the D-3 football world right now.   But, they are not invincible.

Now, if Linfield only had a band!

GO CATS GO!

George
GO CATS! GO!

I, for one, will not forget 1996-98, because I was a Linfield student during that time.

Re: Plu vs Wu. I was impressed by plu's athleticism when I saw them play and figured they would beat sou. I have not seen wu, but would have to think them pretty decent of they beat the lutes.

Is ONU eligible for the playoffs pending appeal?

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Hey George,
The reality is that the 96-98 teams got it done.  Bad bounce of the ball--my ass !!!!!!!!!  it was never in doubt.

      Phone THAT in

That's what they say.

George, George, George....you're starting up with that downer stuff again  :P....be nice now. I think Wildcat11 and the others from 1996-1998 did great! You've got to have some suspense now and then!  I've heard that's also when Gig Harbor Cat concocked his Mojo Juice Flamethrowers, maybe you should try a few and float over to the CatDome in a little better mood.

George,

1996 the streak was one play away from ending but in 1997 and 1998 Linfield was in no danger of having the streak broke.

Funny....have more of a problem with posters that never contribute anything to the board but take upon themselves to come in here and play the posting police than with some of the regulars that I may disagree with from time to time.

wildcat11

Blue,

We love to keep you in suspense!!!!

BTW, I asked the question about having the alumni game during the bye week.  The feeling is that the staff and players need just a break during the season and would rather not have anything schedule during the bye.

coco

11,

What's the scoop on the alumni game?
Will you have more guys on your team this time since it will be on a weekend?

Two words:  THE STREAK

Naked Nott Run

Was curious how you guys view the Liberty League... Do we have any respect from other conferences or what???
Anyone notice how none of the kids from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were even a little bit cool... Where was the athlete who pile drives wonka into the chocolate river??? Coulda done sooo much more with that "classic"

...if I remember right that league is named after the Statue of Liberty. I think St. Lawrence, Coast Guard and Kings Point are all pretty decent. Any of them could pretty much dominate SJU.

Wildcat11....man I thought that idea would go over big with having the alumni game during the bye week from now on. Good fundraiser and a chance for the JV to play in Prime Time...maybe even have it a night game under the lights on a Saturday...now there's some primo tailgating time right there.... I still think it's a good idea! Keep pestering them....  ;D
