Noticed Brett Elliott listed as a QB coach, which is sweet. Anyone know if this is just an off season gig or if his pro playing days are officially over?

Linfield QBs are lucky to have him on board.

Wow, the Butcher is back! Blue is officially coming back from the light now. Que the Butcher "I love Lucy Reruns" on AdvantageBulldogs blog.
Wow RFB, how much did you pay Brett Elliott to coach for Linfield just so you could throw that line out?

The Butcher is back.  I think in his honor I will have my people break out my butcher photo from 04-05 and add it to my posts.

All hail THE BUTCHER

It would be a feast to see the Butcher's students slicing their way through the Redlands defense....but, nope, not going to happen.....Redlands coaches, players and AD all turn white with fear at the thought of playing Linfield...Boing!...Boing!... the Bullfrogs are hopping off to the Indian Reservation for training.  :-*

I believe Linfield is playing a conference game on 10/25. Would've been hard to squeeze UMHB in.

How about thinking outside the box.....we could have scheduled them on Sept. 6th.

Unfortunate timing.  On the 25th, they are seeking revenge against Willamette.  If UMHB had sought a game on the 18th, they could have played them and just sent the JV against L&C! ;)

Which makes complete sense since we learned in an earlier post that L&C is actually Linfield's J.V. team (or maybe the J.V. scout team come to think of it)

Are they cute?  J/K   :D

I'm assuming you went to the game Blue?  Looks like PSU handled them in the 2nd half.  What can you tell us about WOU this year?  Looks to me like they are going to try a balanced attack on Offense and can be passed against on D?

The away jersey's are pretty nice. They are plain but sharp looking. Don't know about the home ones....PSU's outfits are probably the ugliest things I've seen in a long time....just nasty!

It looked like the first game for both teams. WOU pretty much hung with them in the 1st half. Tons of penalties and mistakes on both sides. And yes a bunch of personal fouls.... WOU has size and speed but we'll see how they reign it all in. I have to wonder if PSU may be a sub par team in their division...wont' know for a while.

WOU couldn't really do much on offense the entire game but their defense did better than the score looked. PSU looked pretty bad in the 1st half though on offense. I wasn't really impressed with either of the WOU qbs, their backs weren't bad and they have a couple tall stick receivers, I think 1 is 6'6". He grabbed a fade in the end-zone for their 1st score. Both their lines have a lot of size.

Next week they play Western Washington who is in their same League/Division so it will be a better comparison of what they can do. I noticed they aren't playing Willamette this year but they do play SOU. We play WOU in their last game of the year...game "11" on their schedule.

There is an Assily that plays defensive end for PSU, looks like he's from Hawaii ....anyone know if he's related to Bruce Assily of Linfield a few years back?

He developed the concoction as a treatment for diaper rash. But Boudreaux's Butt Paste has plenty of grown-up fans. He said it's good for chapped lips, skin and heat rashes, and jock itch, too."

Hint: If you are from Willamette, you do not need to wash your hands after applying Butt Paste to jock itch before applying to chapped lips.

Liked it 11--  I know you had personal experience with most of what Tara showed.(Not the Butt Stuff)  In fact I think you will agree, she and her staff's tricks of the trade held you together from time to time.
