The Pios hung in there with PP for a while and then made some mistakes and lost it in the second half. Even if they go winless the rest of the season, which is very possible, it seems like they are improving little by little.

You guys may thump Whitworth this year...they are behind 28-0 with a minute to go in the 1st half. Still a half to go though. Sounds like Whitworth has been turning it over and not moving the ball on offense.

WOW!     St. Thomas   23     St. Olaf       29     Final - 6OT

is it too much to ask for the bucs to come back in the 2nd half :-\

Nah RFB.....Redlands will not score 35 on Saturday......I'm thinking 28-21 Whitworth.  Offense will convert their stats into more points this week with the defense being lights out again.  The Runner will be bleeding.........The only thing you are correct about is that it will be a great game.
Uhm....I guess they haven't scored 35 pts yet....Offense has not convered squat so far.....Defense has been lights out...as in getting their lights knocked out.....bleeding?---Pirate blood.

This has been ugly---I hope the Pirates can pull something together for the 2nd half.
Go Cats!

Quotethey are a major contender

Heck! they are the team to beat, for sure.

How about L & C come all the way back by upsetting Willamette?

The Redlands announcers said that the Linfield offense is in "Shambles". That's a new one.... ???

We'll see what happens if Selway stubs his toe and misses a couple of games.
He likes to run and is pretty good at it, like OXYCollins. I watched him make the tackle on an interception he threw last year too. Really laid into the ball carrier.

So is Willamette the early favorite in the NWC?? The beat Conc-Moorhead by 14, who upset SJU today.
Good thing the NWC has an auto bid this year.

I certainly think they are the team to beat (I mean the team for the WildCats to beat of course!)

SJU got beat by Concordia-Moorehead. I saw them play Willamette a couple weeks ago. Willamette won by a couple touchdowns. Concordia looked fairly decent but I was impressed by Willamette.

How about Menlo--still tied with oxy!
Go Cats!
