I imagine their spread option is more option than anything else?  Makes sense with the QB but i can't imagine them having the other skill players to make it effective.  UWW should be able to man up on guys outside and bring some heat with their front 6-7.  The thing that makes the spread so deadly is good receivers/runningbacks that force you to help over the top with extra DB's.  Thats what opens up all the running lanes for athletic QB's like White, Tebow, Daniels, etc.

Hopefully they can hit up downtown Seattle and throw some fish with the guys down at Pike's market, or take an elevator ride to the top of the space needle.  If nothing else they could check out Seattle's BEST sports team...the Seattle Storm!  I only say Seattle because we all know there is nothing to do in Tacoma where UPS is located.

....since I haven't seen Linfield play yet this year, I was wondering what kind of offense we run?  :o

They may hit the Lusty Lady also.... ;D  That's right by Pike Market!

Kind of fun watching Riley, Langsdorf and Locey work at another level. Good for them.
If Oregon State can do it, UPS puts on a uniform as well.....

Hey TuxGuy.....How 'bout those Beavers! (Tux is a big USC Fan  ;D)

New to the board and since there don't seem to be any Logger fans here....

I'm excited to watch the Loggers and Warhawks this weekend.  UPS has slowly been getting better each year and it will be fun to see how they do against the defending national champs.  Does that mean I am predicting a Logger win?  They say any team can beat any team if they play the right game but it's going to take everything the maroon and white have to stay with UWW.

Welcome to the board and good luck to the Loggers. The Warhawks have a lot of new faces in the starting lineup and have yet to put a complete game together in my view. The defense has played pretty well. The offense got the running game going against a tough UW Eau Claire defense the last game. The passing game has looked mediocre. I think this game will be close for a good portion of the game but the Warhawks will eventually wear the Loggers down with their running attack.

Welcome aboard GrizzTheLogger. I'm glad you've decided to join in on the fun. Have your helmet and flack jacket ready 'cause this board can let 'em fly every once in a while, but's it's all in good fun and the spirit of clean competition.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

I wouldn't worry too much about the Linfield folks giving you flak, Griz.  If you were a Willamette fan, on the other hand . . . ::)

Best of Luck To all NWC teams this weekend. Hope the Bearcats are ready to take on a suspect Leo team from La Verne. Can't underestimate the little guys now a days in college football (see the OSU v.s SC game. lol)

Btw, Gig Harbor, where are you dude? We're ready to celebrate another playoff apperance down here. The boys in blue, plus the one man freak show, are ready to get into the world series. Go blue.

Out of curiosity, does BearcatPress travel to La Verne?

Grizz,

Welcome.

BearcatPress,

We've been pretty nice to you so far but don't expect much love starting on Oct 19th.  ;)

[shameless plug]News Flash:  There will be Catdomealumni.com XXL's on hand tomorrow.  It's a limited number of shirts so it's first come, first served. [/shameless plug]

Best of luck to all NWC conf teams this weekend, excluding willamette of course. I am excited to check out "cats eye view" and see the game as well as hear it. Last year, whitworth put their game on the web, so I was able to watch cats v rats. I wish, in hindsight, that I had flown a kite or something else.

I will be at the dome for the rat killing this year. Purple Flag himself is almost ready to return to the states after two years of exile in europa.

It's On!!!!!!!
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Nope, only day trips for me.  Which excludes all but two road trips: Tacoma and some town near Lafayette.

And I appreciate the introductory kindness, 11, but I've got a pretty good idea of what's coming at me in October.  For now, I'm just content to be covering the only ranked team in the NWC. ;)

Having followed Bearcat football the last two years, I'm definitely nervous about La Verne - especially given our penchant for starting games slowly and losing games that we should win.  If we do manage to get to 4-0, you better believe I'll be pinching myself.
