I have emailed everyone I know and encouraged them to email all those they know. I have voted 7 times so far. Together, we can make it happen.

It can be just like the 1960 Presidential election when Kennedy got 700 votes from a district with only 400 registered voters.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Now let's be realistic about this, I voted for Elliott as a write-in on Sunday night.  I thought that this would be a great thing for D3.  Yeah, he is a former D1 QB.  He is as worthy a player in the highest ideals of the Heisman Trophy as there is.

I have now recognized the very significant side benefit that will accrue to all of us on these boards...

The higher that Elliott finishes is a proxy for the "get-out-the vote effort" by the Linfield fans, but also Willamette and Whitworth and even L&C, not to mention the Johnnies, the Tommies, the Gusties, the Bethels, the MUC crowd, all of us in the ASC and the entire body of D3 fans.

Imagine the complete and invaluable debt of eternal gratitude that the Linfield and Catdome nation will owe all of us for the accolades bestowed upon Brett Elliott! ;D 8)

To those of you for whom altruism is not enough, I cannot imagine a better motivation to

Vote Early!  Vote Often!

Elliott for Heisman!

Ralph Turner,

You are the Man.  See the support you are getting for this.  We will indeed be in debt to you and our many DIII brothers who support us here.

If we could get half-way to the leader in week 1.  We have a good shot at this thing. Seems like no. 1 and no. 2 in the balloting are starting to wake up.  Many ballots posted lately.

JT,

I can see benefits to you already.  We'll see what we can do to make sure you and your Rowan Profs are treated with more dignity and respect on your next trip to the Catdome.  I didn't say enough to win, but with more dignity and respect, (If we have anything to say about it). ::)  Thanks for your support and for posting on our board.

Elliott is moving up the Heisman ladder so fast and breathing so hard, he's looking to pass Matt Leinart before he knows what hit him.

Brett jumps to #9 in the polls.....Keep it up guys.  ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Keep reminding us over at MIAC to vote. We are willing but have bad memory.

57johnnie, Thanks for the support....I'm thinking it's more like selective memory. You guys don't let us forget we're 0-3 against the johnnies....... All in fun ;D

Hopefully, the big vote hasn't happened yet.  Try to pass Leinart tonight and maybe Bush tommorrow.

I've always been an underdog kinda of guy.  It still bothers me when I mention d3 or Rowan and some dufus goes "Isn't that just a step above high school."

I haven't been around this room much lately, cause I've been so busy... D3 East ATR, rowanfootball.com, fantasy league, the real career, and the little lady.  My time is thin.  I spend most of the time on the boards I cover, so I can pick up little tidbits for the ATR.

I don't mind it but I miss a lot of stuff around the country lately.

Someone like dc1 should hit up all the chat rooms for votes around this time every week.

Make sure you guys crank up the Liberty League in the east.
They are avid posters. I know the creators of the MONKEY STOMP will back you up.

Tuxguy, We would love to play in McMinnville again this year. The winner of that game will be DIII champ. A threepeat for the west.

Our memory only goes back as far as last years loss to St. Olaf. We'll take care of that this Sat.
