I voted for Elliott but was troubled that they misspelled Blake's  first name. :)

Seriously, tho, how does this work?  Is it something like the winner of the public vote gets one vote in the actual tally? Sorry if this has been gone over before. As much as I like these new boards, it's still tough to catch up on mulitple boards ...

Jeez, what's with the hate on the Cheesehead board? Just getting Brett as a blip on the big boys' radar would be a good thing for all of d3.   They've got such purple envy they can't see the big picture ...

Tuxguy

repete.......you saw that tooooo.... sending a case of" wine"  to go with the cheese.   :o
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

ELLIOT LEAPS TO #7!!!!!!
What a day this has been as out of nowhere a D3 player leaps to #7 in the Heisman poll voting!  It's pretty amazing what can happen when people believe in our student/athletes.
Think what could happen if every poster (I believe there  are about 8,300) would cast one ballot in the name of D3 football for Elliot.  Since we can vote each week between now and mid-December, I believe D3 voters would win hands down.
Lets keep the momentum going---up next Rank #6!!!

Many thanks to Pat Coleman for helping go get the word out to the entire nation about Elliot's nomination.  Keep up the good work Pat.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

I sent Kelly Bird an email this morning seeing if he has thought about putting it on the website.  He didn't reply to me but it looks like he has caught the Elliott for Heisman fever.....

Pat Coleman

No problem. And thanks to Ron Boerger, actually, who started the process on Friday night. He and I rounded up the 10 votes necessary to nominate him. He got enough to get on the ballot about 24 hours ago.

It's Official.
Elliott just moved into 8th place by one vote.  Let's keep stuffin that ballot box.
Great!  Where do you stuff it?

Okay, I should read all the posts before I querry. Thanks #11

My votes in. Elliot for President, I mean for the Hiesman.
A VOTE FOR ELLIOT IS A VOTE FOR D3 even if you don't like the 'cats you gotta love him.

Went to the school cafeteria for lunch and had a choice of hamburger and fries, pizza or a BBQ rib sandwich full of fat. I asked whats up with the wheat bread instead of white for the sandwich. The cook said the wheat is more nutritious.

Reminds me of the time at McDonalds when a gal ordered a
Big Mac and fries super sized with a diet coke.

D O.C.

57J and tuxguy...I believe the count is 0-4. That equates to every St. J fan can pretend they are voting for BE and vote 4 times without guilt.

Me? Comcast, of course.

It's on the student bulletin boards / news group at Linfield. I got an e-mail from my daughter telling me to vote. ;D Let her know I had, 3 times. Sent the link to all my family and friends, to colleagues, and had a bunch of my students vote.

Ralph Turner

Ron Boerger is the real hero in this.  He spread the news about this web site taking open voting from fans.

IMHO, IF Trinity (his alma mater) meets Linfield in the playoffs, then Linfield ought to fly Ron to cover the game! ;)

Would Hansen and Aune announce over the air on Saturday? Hmm . . .I wonder if the Menlo P.A. announcer would mention it. They usually mention the d3football.com website sometime during the game.

TRU

A SJU follower but just voted 3 times for BE and have 2 more email addresses to use.

Glad to help out -
