I hope everyone in D3 rallies around Elliot in the Heisman on line voting.  There was talk on the ASC board about doing this.

Coco, the guy on the Daily Dose was also me. ;D I do not know why I chose a different name for that part of the site. But hey, all you educators, ask your students. Mine thought it was kind of cool when I explained it to them.

The kinder, gentler Cat Nation does not go on the WIAC board to mix it up.
If people who sting from last year are empowered by NOT voting for a LINFIELD player, that is their rightful move.
After all, this year many rating systems have Whitewater, for instance, rated high above LINFIELD. (But realize how good WW would be with Elliott on it.)
The kinder, gentler Cat Nation does not answer quips about 'rides at the fair' by retorting "No, but we'll guess your girlfriend's weight."

I know how to vote early and often but where do you look up the results?

There is a link on the side menu that says something to the effect of "results."
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Swede, check your email. You have pics.

It is a little confusing and it took me time to find it myself.  Look for the tab on the left of the site that says "Vote for Heisman Leader Board".

I just came across this yesterday and I wanted to share it.

Former PLU Head Coaching legend, Frosty Westering, is in the launch of releasing a new book "The Strange Secret of the Big Time".

Going hand-in-hand with Frosty's book release is the opening of his new web site:

Coachfrosty.com

On Coach Frosty's site he has some motivational thoughts, news clips, and comment boards for former Lutes to give updates on what they are up to.

***Warning***  If you are a Lute hater, you may get an EMAL overload surfing this site.  You may break out in song and go build a sand castle if you take too much of this site in.

Whitorth fans,

Keep your eye on the St. Olaf vs. St. John's game.  With a  St. John's win Whitworth will get into the playoffs.  If Olaf's wins then loses to Concordia-Moorhead the Miac may get three teams in the playoffs each with one loss.

I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Freebird

Having watched all three of those teams beat my team the one loss situation is very possible.

coco

Three teams from the MIAC? Is that possible? How often has it happened that three teams from one conference have been selected for the playoffs?
Two words:  THE STREAK

St. Olaf plays St. John's and Concordia-Moorhead.  I think that some combination of losses is going to send one of these teams out of the top 10 regional rankings.  As long as Whitworth keeps winning, they should jump ahead of at least one of these teams.

As if folks don't need another reason in the vote campaign ... raising BE's profile should also help him get his choice of all-star games.

I gotta think he's all but a lock if he stays on course (and doesn't get beaten too badly by some team in red and white ... sorry, couldn't hold back)

It was  great fun watching the other BE in the Hula a few years ago, even if they did run the option pass to the wrong side of the field.

Meanwhile, in cheesehead territory they are still talking about that 1/923rd of a vote ``ruining'' the Heisman.
