Reading the post gets me all fired up for some Football. Wildcat style.
And some tailgating, Wildcat style.

Look out B-cats. The Wildcats are going to take your 5th leg or arm and put it where you don't want it. Our Salty D is to much for the NWC to handle. Summers and Sparky are made men.  JJ and the rest of the crew will clean up what Summers and Sparky leave behind.

As for the O. Franklin and company are going to move the ball. Number 1 man Reggie is going to test the defense early. Once that is done the other 124 Wildcats will finish the job.

WTF?

Have you seen the Bearcats this season? They've stopped everyone they've faced, allowing just 16 points per game while scoring 42.

Wildcats rang up 55 on L & C, Bearcats 76 (with 2nd & 3rd stringers playing for most of the game). Granted L&C isn't much of a barometer, but they are a common opponent; As are Whitworth and Southern Oregon...

Wildcats beat Whitworth by 3, Willamette beat them by 9.

Bearcats scored 31 vs Southern Oregon, Linfield only 14.

Versus common opponents, Bearcats are the clear favorite. But this game won't be played on paper.

Willamette hasn't allowed more than 23 points in a game since Sept. 29, 2007 when Linfield scored 32.

And lost by 1...

I guess we shouldn't show up tomorrow since the Bearcats are the clear favorite.  ::)

Actually, I hope the Wildcats do show up - and both teams play their "A" Game.  :o

Since I can't make the Titanic Battle tomorrow, I was planned to be glued to my PC watching the action on Cats Eye....now that we've been told the Bear Kitties have it in the bag, I might as well skip the game!  Not a chance, I'm rooting for the Cats to pull off the upset.....always nice to get a little love and sympathy for being the underdog.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Gig Harbor Cat

OK thought I would chime in, before we pack up the old heap and head for the Catdome.  Not much time to post this week,  Too many chores around the ole single wide with winter heading in.

As for this weeks game--My take

Fact 1

Over the years we have seen non-conference and playoff foes of the bearkitties struggle with the fly O.  Fact is you can't properly prepare for them in a week.

Fact 2

The Cat SALTY D, is and has been the best assignment oriented D around.  You can take all of the previous scores of the bearkitties and throw them out the window.  We have their number.  Worst case is that they get 14--  Personally I think that the Cat D could throw a shutout tomorrow.

Fact 3

The Cat O is finding their identity.  This new O not only takes time to master, but now having all of our key players healthy is huge.  With the WU ground game chewing clock up,  I can see the Cats putting up 27.  Two TDs and two FG's by the O and one TD by the D

Final will be either  27-14 or 27-0  Linfield

Phone it in boys, this one is in the bank baby

GHC

Peace out

Looking forward to a great game by both sides.  This will be my first game back since the playing/coaching days.

Hope to see the cats pull a jailbreak on the bearkitties !!!  :)
Do you know what a JAIL BREAK is?

It'll be interesting to see if Speckman has the team practice on the "Quad" today as he did prior to the L & C game. I think that was a brilliant move to get the team some more exposure and get students and faculty a little more geared up for the game.

From '98 to '04 ever Friday practice/walk-through was on the Quad, BearcatFan.  Has the team not been doing that anymore?

D O.C.

Quotenow having all of our key players healthy

Aaron Boheme?  I just hate to find out that kind of info here.

I'm not as well versed in it as you guys. If any team is built to slow it down it would be Linfield. I'm rooting for the Bearcats to win as it would help Redlands cause. Should be a fun game to watch.

Not for every home game, but they do it every once in a while. The L&C gameday  was "Board of Trustees" weekend, I think that may have had something to do with it.

What would really be interseting is if Smith had the Cats show up on the "Quad" for the final walk through.   ;)
