Here's a link to the TWO stories -- the team & the girl kicker -- if anyone is interested.

...who would want to read that STUPID Story! I mean it makes Willamette look really bad. How would you like to be a kicker on the team (and paying like $25,000 to attend) and they bring in some girl off the Rally Squad to kick an extra point. I mean...PLEASE!

Thanks bluenote but I aready had them shined today.

I understand that Linfield has a long and rich tradition in football, no question.  But your comment was an insult to many, many very good players in the SCIAC.  Your comment is just a figment of your imagination.  I am sure many of the loyal Linfield fans would tell you how off base you are in making that comment.

That's a bunch of crap. Their players may be good.... in their crummy league, but they duck Linfield. That's because they know they will get their A$$ kicked and then they will be toast for a playoff bid. Show me one SCIAC team that will play Linfield. In fact show me any team across the nation other than HSU that will play Linfield in DIII.

Maybe it's not the team they're afraid of -- maybe it's the Fans!

Jeez....if you're scared of me you should meet DOC in a dark alley!

I'm not afraid of any of you -- was talking about the SCIAC and why they won't play Linfield -- I assume that's only in football?

I sincerely believe Willamette will go deep in the playoffs.

Gee, I wonder how soon the committee will see fit to line 'em up against UWW.
Personally, I'd like to shut us up and put the NWC champ in the East.
I suppose that would not silence us if they were to walk on cake into the semis.

QuoteLinfield fans seem the most upset about Liz -- the girl kicker –

Actually I'm more upset about the &^***^%* assistant athletic director WU sent us that took a job, took notes, flipped, sued us behind Title IX, and then fled, my bet is somewhere south.

Whoa! Roll up the window and back off that Eola Village '59 Chevy tailpipe.
A couple more 6-3 seasons and there will be plenty.
Besides I have not been in a dark alley since DtnLA 1976.

Bluenote...when will you realize that players don't duck Linfield.  Maybe coaches do, but it's not the players fault.  The SCIAC has an AQ so if the team that wins the SCIAC lost every nonleague game, it still goes to the playoffs, so, IF the teams are ducking you it is not because of the playoff issue.

There are many players on Redlands, Oxy and CLU that would be starters or contributors on your team this year.  If you can't come to grips with that, you must know very little about football.  Your team might beat each of those teams, maybe not, but your statement regarding the players not being good enough to step onto your field is just ignorant.

I appreciate Linfields proud tradition, your comment tarnishes it.

GHC---TDT thinks you've been picking up your game since you got Monkey Stomped by Williamette.  Nice to read you value low Karma numbers.  I do as well...

Snoop Stinker....I'm sure if some of the players and their Daddy's started talking with their wallet that they would have some pull (here's what I'd do if I were a parent down there....I'd go up to the coach and AD and say...."if you don't play Linfield you look like a ducker....I'm not sending you a check unless you play Linfield, so get you butt in gear and play them").......

...and your kid would either be cut from the team or wish he was.  Another brilliant comment.
