Every time I check the heisman site, BE has lost votes. He now has less than 1,000. What gives? It also now says in smaller print that improper votes will be purged. What does that mean? All the candidates have smaller vote counts.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

I saw that, too. I guess they meant it, and purged those votes that were cast more often than once a week, dang it all. We can still make a statement for Elliott, though.

Just a note of warning: how many Comcast users caught the notce on the bottom of the ballot: "Also, please do not use Comcast addresses as they will not going through."  I tried voting Wednesday and received no e-mail validation.  Now I know why!

I e-mailed the Heisman address seeking a work-around, and will copy their response (IF I GET ONE!)  In the meantime, if you use Comcast for your ISP, you should registering other e-mail accounts.

GO CATS!  GO BE!

Though I send messages through my comcast account I route them through another non comcast account and that did not register either.  The validity of this whole voting process seems greatly in question with all the fluctuations in vote tally the site has reflected in the past 12 hours or so.

I think we may have overloaded the site? Brett has gone from 945 to 1004 in just the last 1&1/2 hrs. maybe they have a handle on it now! Go Brett! Go WILDCATS! Go D3..... ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Hey from the MIAC!!!!

Some of us are doing our part on the MIAC board...

Personally,

I've voted, my wife has voted, I've regisetered both of my kids to a yahoo account, and they have voted!!! ;)

You boys need to take it easy on the WIAC..They are VERY tenderhearted!!!

As far as the three teams from the MIAC goes...dont worry....

SJU and CON will Monkeystomp STO

HEY!!! You guys should be honored.....This is my 100th post!!!

Hey thanks ritz72 for honoring us with your 100th post and for your Elliott, Heisman support.

And speaking of Monkey stomps (I've been lurking on the MIAC board too much) it looks like Menlo is going to get one of those tomorrow in gorgeous weather.  I'll root for a Johnnie's victory tomorrow. It's a great year for the Wildcats to put a dent in that 0-3 defecit we have with the Johnnies.

Hey fellow Cats fans!

We should slaughter Menlo, of course, but what I'll be watching (well, listening) the most for is if they take the same sharpness they had against UPS and carry it forward to today.

I thought the Cats were outstanding against UPS, the first truly champion-quality game I've seen this year.  Yeah, I know they've blown people out and all but that was the first time I thought they looked as near-perfect as possible in every phase of the game.

It's time to start thinking playoffs and be thinking and playing like champs.

If only we had powerhouse Lewis and Clark to test out mettle against...

;)

Wildcatter, you ought to set up a free e-mail on yahoo.  I imagine that would work...

I believe what they are doing is checking the e-mails against IP address (sort of like a social security number for your computer).  It probably traces the path back to the originating IP, so if you're voting multiple times from the same computer, even with different e-mail addresses, it becomes an invalid vote.

That's my guess anyway...

According to this mornings Heisman vote, Brett Elliot is only 1,222 votes behind Reggie.  Since today is Game Day invite all those who haven't voted to cast their ballot for BE.  Hopefully Darrel & Dave will pass the website to vote along several times during the broadcast.....remember according to the rules we can vote once per week until mid December.

Listening to the Olaf/John's game. 3-0 Olaf with 3:09 left in the first quarter. Olaf had a really long drive that ended in a field goal to take up a lot of the 1st quarter.
