Every couple years or so.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Tuxguy

I was just wondering if the reduced roster size
will have any effect on the Bearcats?

Looks like rain for Saturday, but who really knows for sure.

Good luck to the Bearcats....Go NWC!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

And put out fires with airplanes, fire fighters . . . and not having anything left to burn.   ???

See you in Salem?

Good Luck to the NWC!!  As long as WU wins their second game I will be happy.

I know, I know. One game at a time, but I do not want to see St. J or UWW in the West Final again.
GO CATS!!

Shouldn't have much effect at all. I don't how many Bearcats typically see the playing field. But they've made two trips to Cali. and one to Spokane and those were very similar, limited rosters. If anything it gives you a little better scout team and a chance to focus your coaching a bit.

Oh and I have no idea what the @#$@# is going on with my photos.  I will have to call my super secret tech person

Tell him mine's got an issue as well.  Looks like 11 (I mean our tech person) has max'ed out his free photo storage.

Thanks d,

Tooth, I'll be with bluenote, just look for the purple Linfield hat.

I'll be the confused and panicked wet guy convinced that the world is coming to an end because water is falling from the sky.

All NWC team has been announced:  http://nwcsports.com/sports/fball/2008-09/news/allnwc

WU had 20 players recognized including Co-Offensive POY, Co-Defensive POY, and Coach of the Year

Congrats to all those who made ALL NWC
Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is...
Practice?  We talkin about practice???

Foss

I see the NWC continues to refuse to address how ridiculous the number of selections are. 5 of the 7 starting QBs in the conference receive mention?? It is getting to the point where they should just list the players in the league who don't make the ALL NWC team, there would be fewer names that way.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Yeah...and co-defensive and co-offensive players of the year?  I mean....Woo had a really great season but he didn't compare to Adam Anderson although I still say Willamette's O-line should have gotten the honor (especially since they couldn't chose one guy).  Whatever though....it's not like the All Conference Team has any function...kind of like the playoff seedings....
Go Cats!

I don't know, Foss. I'd say this year's all-conference selections are much more reasonable. The number of first teamers is down by about 4-5 on each side of the ball compared to some years. You are picking up on the QB's, but 3 of those 5 are just on the 'mentioned' list. Plus 2 of those 3 are seniors, and it's pretty typical to throw a bone to senior starters with decent numbers. From another perspective, there are only 3 TE's and 9 RB's listed in a 7-team league. I suppose they could show some additional restraint on the honorable mention list, but the first and second teams look better to me.

And, yes, congrats to all.
