QuoteShould be fun to see what happens next year when we have 2-3 ready to go from the start.

Not really, now we have a quarterback controversy that can only be settled by the staff and the selfless behavior of the few involved. More this winter, eh?

DO.C.

Who says that they both can't be on the field at the same time?  :)

Thanks TDT,
We should send out a Catdome shirt for you.  It isn't something you can wear at your SJU tailgates, except it is Red, but you could wear it out on the town--The chicks go wild for anyone that wears one.

As for 11, Well I'm not allowed to post that stuff on here.  Modesty prevails !!  I do have some clips of him at my single wide, good stuff.

GHC,

You and 11 are both too modest. Some of the newer posters and those from other conferences might not know what a stud WC11 was at Linfield. Man, he was fun to watch! That guy loved to hit, and he struck fear into the hearts of QBs. He was deadly.

His name is all over the record book, as in All-Conference twice, and even an All-American mention. He leads the list in Career Tackles for Loss, QB Sacks for Season, and is on several other lists for tackles and sacks, always near the top. The guy was just incredible, and he's one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He gives a lot of his time to the football program still today, and he runs the Catdomealumni site for our enjoyment.

I was just thinking that...I mean, if we need a good WR I know one of those QB's caught some TD's.....and if we need a running back, one our our QB's has good wheels......and then of course.....there is the A-11 offense that I think uses two QBs......  :)

Thanks Coco,

You and all of the Coco family have an awesome T-day.  The Mrs and I will be heading to Mac next Wednesday to hook up with Mr and Mrs 11.  I think our invite called for football on the big screen, something cold in a glass and yes some turkey.  And one more thing I do know that there will be several families having a great T-day meal in McMinnville  because of the efforts of our Cat Sr players along with WC 11 and all of you Cat fans that chipped in.

You guys wont believe this.............

I was in Portland the other day down around Burnside and saw the Western Oregon University  Wolves bus.
I stopped to check out what they were doing and to my surprise the football Coach said he was looking for recruits.

Makes sense..................skid row = personal fouls.
I thought it was nice to give the guys a free education.
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

I know you taught him all his moves, GHC.

You are the one who suggested the extra donations for Helmets for Hunger, so both of you can take credit for the extra families who will benefit this year. That is a wonderful program, and the Cat Nation IS the best.

Back at you with a mahalo nui loa.

Aren't a bunch of them getting a free education already, with their scholarships?

Maybe we could ask that asst. AD/SID the next time he posts.

Please, please!....although we are still members of the NWC and were picked to win the conference in 2008, let's please remember that WU has exceeded all expectations of their pre-season 81st rank by the PC Posse, and it is their day in the sun (just a phrase, OXY), so let's let them bask in the chance to win more than one play-off game and not blow it for the NWC. We can talk about the best athletes being on the field at the same time next season as well as just what the Hades went wrong with punt protection time after time after time during the 48 degrees with drizzle days to follow.

Or the 65 degree days with a few clouds in our case, eh Dens?

BTW, they need to win at least 2 games to keep the NWC's playoff winning percentage from going down.

A kinder, gentler Wildcat nation!  I've even convinced one of my high school friends who goes to Linfield nursing to come down from Portland to cheer on the Bearcats this weekend.

I'm new on the board but am a long-time watcher.  I'm a Bearcat fan but don't expect to sound like an expert.  Will chime in when there's something to say but plan to listen and learn.  It has been said (to paraphrase) it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

At any rate, it was asked if the WU/Oxy game will be broadcast.  The Willamette website is listing a web broadcast, audio only, at the following link.  http://www.willamette.edu/athletics/bsn/webcast/

I'm also happy to welcome FightBearcats to the board!  Not just because it's another Willamette poster but because it's someone who (I think) actually knows the real Willamette fight song - not whatever McKay High School was playing during the Menlo game.
