bleed...Don't know much about UWW but as I am sure you have read on this board, WU has mucho speed and they make big plays.  Hope your boys wear their track shoes 'cause you can't hit what you can't catch! ;)

UWW might have the fastest, hardest hitting defense in the country, including Mount Union. I've heard an awful lot about the speed of Woo and the Bearcat offense. Precious little about their defense. I don't have to say it, but I will anyway: Defense wins championships!

And we're the NWC champions. :)

All I see from the Cheese makers is talk about size, size, size, Oh and some speed.
Check out the Willamette's roster, Size,Size, Size and lot's of speed.

Willamette beat a good Concordia-Moorhead team 35-21 that beat St John's 9-6.
They beat a Cal Lutheran team 31-17 that lost to Oxy 24-21. They beat our Wildcats with the big play.

We could go all day/night with this type of stuff, what it comes down to this Saturday is who is the most prepared, focused, and hangs on to the ROCK!
And maybe a BIG play or 2.

As a Wildcat, I'm looking forward to seeing UW-W again. The last time in McMinnville I witnessed probably the best game I've ever seen in person, Just with the wrong outcome. 44-41 What might have been?

I see purple boy is smack talking, at least the Bearcats won their Conference!!! ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Purple boy? (Trying to sound angry, but have to admit I'm laughing out loud right now).

But for the record. UWW is the WIAC Co- Champion.

And I'm looking forward to you seeing UW-W again too. As long as you don't mind "wrong outcomes" you will probably have a good time.

 BP,
Glad you got a chuckle out of my post. Angry, please?  ::)We turned in our gear a week ago. I'm just having fun now.

And just to clarify,
The Champion gets the auto bid, that was Stevens Point, you had to get a well deserved pool C bid.
The game Saturday can't have a "wrong outcome" if I really don't care who Wins.
I will be in the stands to watch what I hope is a really good Football game.
Sure I will be hoping for a NWC win, but, I wont go home and lose any sleep if they don't.

Peace out!

....I doubt it..... :-*

Hey Pat...are you gonna hit Magoo's with us for a Bloody Mary before the game?

D O.C.

He'd have to BE Magoo to show up for a toddy before the game.

snoop - I think the Warhawks have been there and done that!! Wesley and UMHB have always used that same line; funny they never did make those plays against UWW that they do against everybody else, why?...UWW has/is well equipped in that department...UWW offense is a pound the rock, 12 play 80 yard drive, ball control offensive team, play outstanding team, ball hawking (no pun intended) defense, win the turnover and field position battles...do those things better than your opponent, chances are you will come away with a victory...

...if you allow me to take the liberty of adding one more line to your comments, it would be ..."you don't have to catch them if they don't have the ball"...I think one of the things being stressed this week is to keep the ball away from that offense - see my comments above...

...it should be a great game.  Hope both teams play flawless; let the chips fall where they may.  KABOOM

Hey BoBo.......I don't care that much about Willamette but I care somewhat less about you guys, but if you guys are as good as you say you are it will be interesting. I thought you guys were pretty good in 2005 at the CatDome but if we'd have had a running back that could get 3-4 yards we would have been back at the Stagg that year.
