repete

dc1,
But I do recall SJU being up 35-7 with 3:30 left vs. UWEC ... and barely  hanging on, 35-28 with a stop inside the 25 with eight ticks left.

Doubt I'll make it to your fine part of the country (and I hope the Johnnies do), but if either LC or SJU makes it to Salem East, I will be there in the West stands.
.

Just to add to repete's information. Gags will not put in his reserves and them ask them to lay down. He wants to see if they can run the offense, or make stops on D. Remember they don't scrimmage, and he needs to get feedback on how his players perform during a game.
Today, for example, they scored 35 in the second quarter and led 35 - 3. The team they were playing was averaging over 45 per game. What would you do as a coach? The starters got two more quick ones after half, and he started to substitue after that. The reserve players got the last three TDs. I know that it's popular opinion that SJU likes to pile up the points. Most of the time it happens when they get out to a big lead in the first half, score early in the second, and then the SJU reserves outplay the other teams reserves. What do you do? start taking a knee in the third? Run the ball backward and take safeties? They play the second and third team, and they play well. Live it! Love it!

I think part of the problem with the penalties today was that they just were not focused. Pretty hard to be meeting a team that would probably lose to UPS. Come the WU game the cats will have it all together.

cawcdad

Just got home from the game. The Cats O looked out of sync most of the day. BE was good throwing short, but the long passes were almost all over thrown. The first TD he took something off of it. He also had a couple of passes just plain dropped, very uncharacteristic. The D was awesome taday. They made some crunching sticks. I was standing near the Menlo bench when they scored the TD and you would have thought they had just won the Superbowl. The penalties were frustrating. The personal foul on BE was a stupid move on his part.

86, enjoyed talking and spending most of the first half with your dad.  I see from a couple of the posts that my shout out to you guys was mentioned on the air! ;D

I do hope Menlo's #83, Cameron Kuwai, is ok. He was taken away on a back board but he did have feeling and had some movement.

Lute's march down the field 75 yds. and score   7,  bearcats 7.   4:55 In the 1qt

I take it you are having no problems with the audio on the Willamette internet feed.  I get no audio though it appears to be all set up fine.  I can acess their archive games just fine but not this live game.  Any suggestions?
