Ohhmmmmm......Ohhmmmmm......Ohhmmmmm,

Where's the Love all?

It was a good day for D3 Football.
The Game came down to the wire, with(the best teams in D3) giving all they have  for a Championship.

The rest of D3 watched............ and I hope learned from every play, hit, pass, tackle, run, catch, fumble, penalty, kick, and so on and so on. Must be some reason Mt. Union has won 10 Championships, and U. of WW has been in the big game the last 4 years.

Once you taste it!   You have to have it again!

It was a fun year?  ;) ;)    :(

The Cats playoff bound in 2009!!
GO WILDCATS 54 IN 2009

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

BC Press,
Its not a matter of argument, its a matter of facts.  I coach against guys that drive me wacko--  If we hadn't of had that bad third inning, or gave up the three bombs, or made such and such errors, you did and thats the way it turned out.  You go out and play your game and the final results are on the board.  You can't have a doover for a lackluster first half or bad inning, that is just why we play the game rather than just picking a score and Phoning it in !!

What facts are the ones you are trying to cite here? Willamette facing the national runner-up in the second round doesn't mean the Bearcats can't be top five or even top three.

I am sure GHC is capable of understanding the difference between TOP FOUR and FINAL FOUR. This isn't Division I basketball, where the teams are sent all across the country and seeded nationally.

I doubt highly, GHC, that you complained when Linfield lost to Whitewater in the quarterfinals, not making the final four, but was still ranked No. 3.

I know your MO is to be a jerk, but you should consider accepting the respect for the NWC that people have been whining for.

Same to you, R&P, and to everyone else on the board and your families. You are even having a cold spell in your neighborhood, aren't you? We are indeed blessed if we're warm and safe this time of year, as the weather is causing problems for many people, especially those less fortunate.

We have 11 inches of snow on the ground here, with a quarter to a half inch of ice on top of it. Our big dogs have a tough time when they go outside, walk a few steps, then break through.

Safe travels to those of you who are planning to do so.

You are wrong Pat.  My MO is to offer my opinion.    Of course I can see that if someone has never played sport one you would see it that way.  Again just my opinion.

Oh and a Merry Christmas to everyone.

Peace Out

Too bad your opinion isn't informed by reality at any point.

BTW, I played sport one (whatever that means). Played sport one high school.

I was wondering if Willamette has any type of grooming code on their team....a lot of them have really long hair and beards and unsightly hairdos. Am I just getting older or do other people think they look kind of freaky? Maybe we could get Pat to post a Poll on the front page about the subject. It seems to me that most of the teams that make it to the final are rather clean cut with the hair styles.....just curious....I know the dreadlock thing has been popular lately in college and pro ball. But I heard that all kinds of insects and larva grow in those things.
