LINFIELD + 10 game J.V.schedule  = Mount Union

                           BIG advantage

Okay, so how many d3 schools play a JV schedule?  That seems to me like it would be huge, both in recruiting and in getting players better.

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas to all you NWC posters.  Stay safe on those roads, stay home if you can.  Up here we're used to the snow and ice on the road and we still have a lot of accidents from road conditions, down there must be horrible when you get snow.

The whole conference?  Or do they schedule games outside of conference?

...and the coaching staff. All the hands on experience with the books, sets, strategies, blah, blah, blah, and then on Saturday they are part of the GAME. Year after year they know the players so well.
Maybe I'm off. Maybe the JV's play an away schedule on Saturday and the whole program works against itself. Highly unlikely.

Sidenote: So happy to see that the cheerleaders from MUC were not centerfolds in training. Courtesy of d3football.com on the front page links. I was afraid they might be since the program is so exalted.

I went to a Linfield JV game once.  The Cat head coach came up into the stands and asked me if I enjoyed the view from my $20,000 seat  ;D

Merry Christmas to all the NWC and D3 Posters.

Can't wait for the rain to return, this snow is for the birds. (Except the birds were smart and flew South.)

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL.....from the land of ice and snow.  Tux we're waiting for the rain also (when it shows up in April)!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Best wishes to all my NWC'ers!  I always look forward to all the battles on the field and the little battles here on the board.  Hope you all have a great Christmas/holiday season and wish you all nothing but the best in 2009.....yes even (509) Rat.

HO-HO-HO!!!!

Two words:  THE STREAK

I had trouble walking this morning from all the food and drink the morning/afternoon/night before.  Hope everyone on the board had a blessed Christmas.  When is it time to start talking about 2009...gonna be a big year for the Rats!  Oh and WC11, I sent you a present in the mail. Although its too late to redeem this season, the playoff berth coupon is valid through 2010 so you've got two seasons left on it for your Cats  ;)

(509),

Thanks for being so thoughtful.  However, I have a gift you can use now.  You may have already seen this but I thought this piece of video work was very impressive and since it involves the two pathetic Washington DI's I'd pass it along.
