The burr in the saddle is just fine for motivation. Not coming through in a big game is a fact. Let's just do it this season.

...DOC smart. Me not trollip ...me motivzate! Linfeet must get higher in Nwc and more...me help!
Hi....I'm TrashCanJoe.

...well, Linfield has a pretty tough schedule the 1st couple months but I'm predicting a 9-0 season heading into the playoffs. We don't play Western Oregon University anymore so that is good.

Only if you are retiring Blue :)  Of course I'll be pick-eming...you know how much I love to throw up random numbers and analysis of why I picked those random numbers.....too much fun (but I am not going to be in charge of the Pick-em).  :)

I think Menlo has a new head coach and some new players but they usually play Linfield pretty tough at home...at least in the past they have. Linfield beat Menlo last year 9-0 at home, but we were playing with our 3rd string qb and pretty much playing very conservative. I think Whitworth will be better this year....I'm thinking they were pretty young last year and should be improved. From what I remember they have a good qb and their defense is usually pretty solid. They tend to be a little conservative on offense from what I've seen in the past. Playing at the Pine Bowl is not an easy game either. Should be a great year!

I have no idea about Menlo.  A coaching change is a big deal so I'm slotting them as unknown for right now...they have a good core of younger players that lost close games last season but who knows about their retention.  Regardless I suspect they will be a tough road game for Linfield.

The key for the 'Cats is the first two games.  Hardin Simmons is going to be a highly ranked with an All-American caliber QB under center who's given us fits the past two years.  It's a huge season opener on multiple levels.  Then we turn around and start a 4 week roadie at Oxy.  It's not going to be an easy road but I'm excited to see how the 'Cats respond.

btw.....I'm talking about practice.

George Fox considering adding football after 1 + million dollar gift towards new athletic complex.

What great news! Pacific and Fox both adding football would certainly ease scheduling. I'm thinking that had to be a misprint that George Fox had football up until 1969. If they did, they weren't in our conference. Maybe the writer means intramurals, as the GF program was long gone by then.

Thanks for the camp videos, WC11. It's fun to see the young kids getting after it in the fun stuff like the sumo and tug of war.
