Any information about why Bubba Lemon and brother transferred to Willamette?  I don't think it will hurt Linfield.

..wow...too many to remember but all were great. Maybe Wildcat11 can get a highlight tape of the Elliott to Allen connection. I just remember it looking so easy/natural when those 2 hooked up. I'm sure there was a lot of ground work that had to be done in the practice arena to make it look so smooth.

I agree. I remember when the opposing team dropped 11 players back in pass coverage, the o-line was screaming at Elliott to run , but he threw across to the other side of the endzone and he burned them for a t.d.

Puget Sound has upgraded their crappy athletic web site to a presto sports template:

Actually it looks a lot like Redlands Athletic Site (same company)

BearcatPress,

Any information?  I think Bubba was the most over rated DB in Linfield history.  What do you have about this?

Fellas,

Wanted to pass along GHC's goods from a trip he just took up in Alaska.  The first pic is of the King Salmon he landed within 15 minutes out on the water (44lbs).  The dude on the left is my buddy who owns the lodge in Alaska that GHC stayed at (he played at Willamette in the 90's).  The second one is of GHC, his buddies, and dead halibut.  (Click to embiggin)

Too bad it never got to reproduce.
Oh! Wait....did he throw it back?

Gig Harbor Cat

Dens,
Threw him on the BBQ but not back !!  It was an awesome trip-- big time fight when he hit.  We spent a week in Soldotna at David's lodge.  If any of you want an awesome trip look up Alaska Serinity Lodge, David and Katie Richardson. I'm sure anyone from D3 will get the good guy discount.   First Class all the way.

Went on a bit of a rant last night about senior/team posters after I peeped the most horrible college football video of all time.

Yes, that was horrifying, Lane Kiffin will either be the second coming of Urban Meyer, or Gerry Faust. Kiffin is married to the daughter of John Reaves, the great Florida Gators quarterback of the late 1960s and early 1970s. I remember videotaping Reaves in 1985 when he was playing for the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL against New Jersey, it was my first game ever shooting from the sidelines.

I'm as out of the loop as anyone else.  I had my first interview with Speckman last week, and one of the things he mentioned was that we were going to be stacked at DB.  I took that as a reference to the great crop of young DBs that made a HUGE impact on our secondary last year. ???

Bearcats tabbed preseason NWC favorites by the coaches.  Take 4 out of the seven 1st place votes while Linfield pick up the other 3.
