Those Insiders are not just flotsam and jetsam, they are fun!

How about those coaches that moved on and up, eh?

Not only the coaches but what about the players in some of these clips that are now doing some big things in the coaching ranks.  Glad you guys have been enjoying these old clips that Dan Kielty spent many years putting together for 'Cats during the 90's and early 2000's.

Hello all! Long time no post but I have lurking and reading. Been a busy summer with one trip up to Oregon to climb Mount Jefferson. Wore my Catdome shirt when I stopped in Salem for lunch. No comments.  ;D

I will be down in So Cal for the game with Oxy. Look forward to meeting some of the folks from the boards.

It's time for the third annual Northwest Conference Pick 'em contest.

Should I leave it the same rules as last year (see below) or, should I add a national game of the week? If so how many points?

Prior to the first games of the season on September 5, predict the NWC final standings. These points will be added to the weekly pick points at the end of the regular season to determine the winner. 7 points will be awarded for  picking the correct league champ, 6 for second and so on to last place.

One point will be awarded for each correct non league game picked correctly and 2 points for each correct NWC game picked correctly. In addition there will be a West Region game of the week not involving NWC teams worth two points. The picks must be made by 8 A.M. Pacific time on Saturday morning.

I will try to have the updated standings and following weeks games up by Sunday evening. You have between now and 7 A.M. on September 5 to get your final standing predictions in. I will have the first weekend's games up on August 30. Once again I hope this is fun.

OK...I am not tap dancing around it beginning now. My 2 cents worth is I do not like having two quarterbacks and not a clearly defined starter with two major games right off the tap. Hey! I got tap in there twice.

D O.C.....wouldn't that just make the competition for the starting position better and more focused? I think it's a good thing. I have confidence in either one from what I've seen. I haven't been to practice yet, but who knows there may be another couple guys who could also compete for the starting role.  :D

Dens,
Don't sweat it dude, things have a way of working out for the best.  I have insider info, but of course I can't  tell ya!!!  (yet)

If GHC is working with the same insider info that I have ( ;)), then I can safely say you folks are already set at quarterback.

Now I'll just bite my tongue and enjoy being a reporter . . .

I knew Michael Vick didn't really sign with the Eagles...good thing Pacific's program doesn't start this year--Vick is brutal on dogs, boxers, pitbulls, you name it... :-\
Go Cats!

Wildcat'64

Frankly I like the idea of having 2 strong QB's out of the shoot.  Remember what happened last season when it took the backup several games to get his rhythm.  At least this season the Cats will have two guys (or more) who can step in and take the helm on the opening kickoff.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Set on QB! #2 is strong and #3 isn't shabby.

Look under the wagon for some of them.

I am very offended to not be included in this list.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.
